And hello Matt!

Not new to the QAFF scene, Matt Breakspear joins the ranks as the Director of Media, Lighting and Logistics.

Matt has captured all 4 shows of the 2024 fashion festival (link in bio for the albums) and brings his events logistics and lighting experience to help us elevate the shows this coming year 🙌🏻

Welcome Simone Press!

Founder and designer of Gugabarra Deeaming, Simone comes on board as our First Nations Adviser and Arts Chairman.

Being a storyteller, artist and designer, Simone brings a wealth of knowledge to the fold.

This year, we want true visibility for what the land has to offer and the stories it tells. We are excited to have such a brilliant woman in the QAFF committee and drive both culture and arts in this space.

“Don’t worry, Luce has got you!” This is what we love hearing when it’s show time 🤩 Lucy Shepherd returns as QAFF 2025 Director of Hair & Makeup.

Lucy is on it and always so spot on organising the models’ looks and is a champ on show days.

Founder of The Bella Styling Co., Isabel is a seasoned fashion stylist, producer and director and is QAFF’s Creative Director, Queensland Arts and Fashion Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief and Head of Designer Team.

Isabel’s passion is creating spaces for fashion and creatives and we are looking forward to The Flower Show’s return in 2025.

Having recently won the crown on international stage, Ranti Zapart is QAFF’s Art Director and the Queensland Arts and Fashion Magazine Art Editor.

Ranti is the art powerhouse behind all QAFF promos and the magazine published for the festival. As a seasoned model, she has contributed and spearheaded the 2-day Editorial Shoot in 2024.

Her passion lies in making everything look beautiful and we are excited for the year ahead and see more of the art coming out of QAFF.

Founder and the pillar of Rise to the Runway, Summer Brown is QAFF’s Event Director, Model Team Director and Head of Operations.

Under Summer’s guidance and leadership, the Model Incubator will give the participants valuable experience and walk away with skills in the industry. Her passion lies in creating a platform for emerging models and designers and this is the drive she’s had building Rise to the Runway.

Rise to the Runway will come back yo QAFF this year to present Next Gen Runway for emerging designers and models.

Congratulations to all designers who registered to compete and put their work out there. It is definitely a brave thing to do.

Congratulations to the QAFF models and new RTTR models who showcased these designs beautifully. We are always in awe of your skills and talents.

Rise to the Runway 2024 was inspiring, electrifying and incredible.

As the designers dropped off their competing looks, it was a whirlwind of visuals. We think the bar has been raised and the level of talent and quality of work is something RTTR has never seen before.

The stage is set, designs are ready, models are pumped, crew has the green light and off we go 🚀

Tomorrow is the third instalment for what has been a valuable platform for designers, models and creatives.

Rise to the Runway , since it’s inception in 2020 has always been focused on the emerging stage of fashion. The awards event paves way for more opportunities in the industry and to add to that is a network of other creatives that serve as inspiration and motivation to progress.

Tomorrow is another opportunity to network and gain confidence. RTTR is also a teaching platform where every interaction is a learning opportunity. The dedicated team aim pass on their experience and expertise to the up and coming creatives while celebrating their talents and skills.
