- QAFF MODEL INCUBATOR PROGRAM -

Congratulations to all the models that applied and got through the first round of casting. We can’t wait to see you at the in person casting on 1 February.

We shortlisted the applications to 200 and we cannot wait to meet everyone!

QAFF is the largest incubator for fashion creatives and this year will be nothing but an amazing experience for everyone.

❤️‍🔥 Please note that only models and parents for under 18’s are able to attend. There will be no media passes given out for this event.

Swimwear is mostly sold online these days and you never get the chance to meet the brains behind the brand - this changes now. You get to meet the founders and shop your 2025 togs!

Designers, A show and a stall awaits you!

QLD SWIM is promoting a SUN SAFE Queensland and a focus on the community that makes this sunny state the best among the rest.

Tickets for the launch will be released after the model casting.

Make way for the MEN! VALOR, Men’s Fashion Review comes back showcasing the best of men’s fashion and focusing on men’s mental health.

Men’s mental health is rarely spoken about and there’s still a stigma attached to it.

Our male models showed grace and dedication in last year’s show and QAFF is ready to make VALOR a staple in your calendar.

We are opening the doors to individuals who create for movies, theatre, wearable art to come and show off at Queensland Arts & Fashion Festival.

The Flower Show, a space where fashion and theatre meet is a dedication to all the mothers and the ones who play that role in our lives.

The night before Mother’s Day this year, you will be treated with beautiful fashion and thoughtful set designs. Be a part of the love and the world of The Flower Show.

Designers will showcase 12 designs that tell of their brand and story. Applications are open, the link in our bio enables you to apply.

NEXT GEN RUNWAY will welcome 18 designers to showcase this May ⚡️

Opening the 2025 fashion festival, up and coming designers will showcase 6 pieces representing their brand. This exciting opportunity not only provides designers with an audience, this is also a way to go in and learn the ropes in runway this early in their career.

There will be online sessions with the producers and festival head stylist to go through what designers should expect from the festival and get them ready for the showcase.

Applications are open and can be accessed through the link in our bio and will close on 22 March 2025 to be included in the QAFF 2 Day Editorial Shoot.

Model Casting Applications for the QAFF Model Incubator closes tomorrow night.

Please note that only applicants that successfully pass the first round of applications are to be invited along to come to the in person casting on 01 February.

The application can be accessed through the link in our bio.

We will send an email to all successful applicants with information regarding the casting.

Please note, there are no media passes issued for this casting. All media applications will open in March.

Calling all designers!

Queensland fashion has a lot to offer and we are excited for another round of showstoppers this 2025 ⭐️

There are five shows this year and we can’t wait! Starting with our launch event, QLD SWIM on 22 May on the Gold Coast. Enjoy a runway show and get an opportunity to see your fave swimwear brands up close. There will be an opportunity to meet the founders of these brands and potentially go home with new swimmers. We have invited formidable speakers around mental health and wellness on the day as well. Jam packed, community focused induced fun!

And we have Next Gen Runway for Emerging Designers, The Flower Show where fashion and theatre meet, Circo, costume design showcase and Valor, Men’s Fashion Review.

It is not everyday you can experience a fashion community that pushes for progress for every single person involved.

The core of the Model Incubator Program is a training ground like no other. The entire experience is the training itself. From casting day to the show you walk in, it’s is magic ⭐️🪄

QAFF is people first, fashion is just the bonus.

Model Casting Application closes this Saturday, 11 January 2025. An email will be sent to successful applicants to attend the in person casting on 1 Feb at Broadbeach Cultural Centre. You can apply through our bio.

2024 is coming to an end which means we are nearing the launch of QAFF2025!

The Model Incubator Program is set and we can’t wait to welcome you all.

Model Casting for all runways will close on 11 January and applications sent after that date will not be accepted.

The Model Incubator Program is a one of a kind initiative by QAFF.

Successful models walk into a giant model training platform where they learn modelling basics with the help of our seasoned veterans and experience the shows. There will be 2 days of editorial shoots for the magazine and everyone gets a chance to be published in QAFM Issue 02 in May and also be in the two other publications that we will announce soon!

The program runs from February - June 2025.

Participants also get to learn transferable skills and hear from an array of speakers.

This isn’t only modelling - it’s more than that.
