The best/ craziest thing about elopement's is that you can literally do it anywhere and at anytime!

The beach? A farm? A cliff? Top of a mountain? In your home? In a forest? A winery? A boat? A hot air balloon? Day time? Night time? Sunrise? Sunset? Literally whatever you want!

And you best believe I'll be there tagging along for it 🤗

INSERT FUNNY ALPACA PUN

When Tammy and Michael told me they were having Alpacas walk down the aisle with their bridesmaids.. it was a big YES from me!

Teddy and Coco were the perfect addition to the wedding party, and made for one fun ceremony! They were definitely crowd favourites, like seriously, look at those faces, how could they not be!?

You will never regret having animals apart of your day. I 10/10 recommend 👏🏻

Luke knew from that very first date when Anna drove up in a white mini van that she was the one for him.

I ran away with these two, their parents and my gal Courtney from Black Palm Collective | Photography + Videography] and did some hitching in the middle of the forest.

It was pure magic and I'm still so obsessed with this day.

WHEN IN DOUBT.. ELOPE!

If I had to choose one of the best things to come out of covid, it would be elopements.

Yes, they have always been around, but there was a certain stigma attached. Well, that is now a distant memory- and I bloody love it!

Kim and Dean packed their bags, organised a kick ass celebrant (me), crashed Kim's brothers family holiday, got married and it was the best thing ever! It was simple, elegant and so them!

So special being a part of this day for such a beautiful pair who I am lucky enough to call life long friends 🤍

Jordan knew that Emma was the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, and knew the next step in their relationship, was proposing. Well, he tried a few times to propose, but things just weren’t going to plan for Jordan!

He decided he was going to propose on their anniversary while they were away at the Sunshine Coast, but the ring was not ready in time. Then when they got home from holidays, the ring was finally ready to be collected! Jordan made a new plan of taking Emma to the Sunflower fields and propose to her, amongst the never ending fields of yellow happiness.. but then they burnt down 🫠

A few weeks passed so Jordan decided to take Emma on a romantic beach stroll, as they arrived, it started to rain, like TORRENTIAL rain! So that idea got parked and it was back to the drawing board for Jordan.

Then finally, it was New Years Eve, they had just finished their shifts at work and decided to go for that stroll along the beach and watch the fireworks. At the strike of midnight, when the first firework went up, Jordan pulled out the ring, dropped to one knee and asked Emma to marry him!

THE HARDEST THING EVER

The hardest thing about being a celebrant is you spend months or even years talking and getting to know people and their love stories, you dive deep into their emotions and find what they love and how they love, you learn the kinds of people they are, by the way they love others and the things they like to do together.

Then once the big day comes and goes, you have to let them go. They move on with their lives and it's the hardest thing ever!

I've been so blessed to have married some bloody legends and I'm so lucky I've been able to stay in touch with so many and watch their lives unfold.

Being a celebrant is pretty awesome and sharing in these moments is something I definitely do not take for granted 🤍

LOVE NOTES

Krissi told me she loves Sam’s sense of humour, his kind and pure heart and that he’s just BY FAR the hottest man that she has ever seen. She loves the surprise kisses on the forehead just for no reason, and how he shows his love for her by being her biggest supporter.

Sam tells me that Krissi is the most caring, selfless and fiercely loyal person that he has ever met. She is there for everyone whether it be family or friends and always shows up for anyone who needs her. He admires the way Krissi raises their boys and how she is an incredible mother.

After many conversations over the phone, hundreds of text messages and thousands of miles travelled, Sam and Krissi had the most dreamy and intimate rooftop ceremony with their families ✨
