To all my past couples: We need to talk about your wedding videos.

If you received your special day captured on a USB drive, Blu Ray or DVD, it's a good time to check them. These storage mediums have limited lifespans, and over the past couple of years, many couples have reached out because these items no longer work and they don't have a backup copy.

I'm guilty of not backing up personal files too. So I get it.

While I keep hard drive copies of everything I edit, even these backups won't last forever.

If you still have a working USB from me, please make additional copies on your computer or in cloud storage. Platforms like Dropbox and Google Drive offer free storage up to a certain amount, making them excellent options for safeguarding your videos.

For those of you with DVDs that no longer work (does anyone even have a DVD player anymore?) or if you want a digital copy of your wedding: I may be able to help.

Hi everyone!

With limited time to manage multiple platforms, I've decided to focus my energy on a few key channels where I can engage more meaningfully with you and showcase my work as a wedding videographer. As a result, I will no longer be posting updates here on Facebook.

I’m thrilled to share that my YouTube channel has been growing rapidly over the past year, with nearly 30,000 subscribers! Your support has been incredible, and I’m excited to continue creating content that inspires, educates and connects us all.

You can find all of my latest content, including beautiful wedding videos, behind-the-scenes moments, and the funny side of weddings on my Instagram and YouTube channels. These platforms allow me to connect with you more interactively, and I’m excited to continue sharing my journey there.

Over my career, I've jokingly referred to this chapel (and resort) as my second home.

After 17 years and over 100 weddings captured in these walls, I can easily say this is the most unique chapel I've ever stepped foot in.

Joyce and Luca also celebrated 1 year together this past weekend.

These two were so much fun to be around and not only did they have epic vows, but a killer first dance routine at the reception.

Just over eight years ago I traveled to Wanaka for a wedding. I was told this town was 'heaven on Earth' but nothing prepared me for THE most stellar view I've ever seen.

The photos really don't do it justice.

If you're reading this and know someone getting married in New Zealand have them get in touch. I've been to this region five times and would love to return.

This highlight film captures the beautiful and emotional wedding of Zoe and Mitch on the Gold Coast. It was a special day for me, as I had the privilege of filming the wedding of Zoe’s mother Suzie, and her husband Alan on the same family farm six years ago. Suzie was a wonderful person who sadly left us too soon.

In this film, you will hear Alan’s heartfelt speech, where he remembers Suzie and expresses how proud she would have been of Zoe and Mitch. You will also see the stunning ceremony under the same tree where Suzie and Alan exchanged their vows. It was a surreal and touching moment that I will never forget.

This was one of THE most fun weddings I had the pleasure of filming in 2023.

Engaged!!

I thought I was being clever by planning a surprise proposal to Bernice on our annual family shoot, but let's face it, women are smarter than we are, and she suspected.

My daughter already knew I had a ring and she had the idea to deliver it to me. I thought she'd just watch off to the side, but to our delight, she took a front row seat and added her usual, cheeky flair to the moment.

It was perfect.

I feel for the person who takes on the job of filming the wedding of two videographers 😄
