What would you call a group of celebrants?
I just referred to us as a “gaggle” 😂
If you grab an Ipswich News Today you will find a free wedding guide. 🥰❤️💋
It features a great little helper check list and of course me 🤣
Ever wanted to sit on a couch like on “friends”?
Well now you can.
Come meet me at The Mill Coffee Shop for a danish and a coffee or an “Aniston” salad and a bespoke iced tea.
Free ceremony advice and Notice Of Intended Marriage service. Appointment required.
What do I do when I’m not being a celebrant?
I’m a trained barista and an old hospo from way, way back. I get to work with the most amazing people at The Mill Coffee Shop. Where I often have accidents (see photos) 😂
I create aquascapes and terrariums and sell them in Embers and Twine. They are all natural scapes so people can enjoy nature at their desk or at home with easy care options.
I’m a wife, a mother of two adult children and currently have two dogs (the pup is a foster if you’re interested pm me).
I’m not religious, quite sarcastic, love a little gin, a little music and a lot of laughs. 💋💃🏼🍸
If I sound like the right celebrant for you - you know what to do and where I might be.
Chat soon. 🥰❤️
Sam Formally Yours - Ipswich does it again. A beautiful story with a fairytale beginning and end. ❤️❤️❤️
I love this. Can someone please do this so I too can dress up. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Meet and greet Tanner and Jackson this weekend - pm me for times.

Yesterday I got to do the cutest ceremony.
A quick little elopement for two people who have been trying to get this done for two years.
I’ve loved helping them along the journey and I’m so glad I got to get them hitched.
❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations Regina and Chris 🥰
I’m pretty proud of my aquascape creations currently in Embers and Twine. These living ecosystems need very little cleaning and care so if you aren’t green thumb but would like an indoor plant, drop by and see what creations I have for you. ❤️🥰
Eloping?
Getting married?
Two of the same but different.
Eloping was “running away without consent”. Marriage was often seen as a family affair. Couples would be married off to benefit the family in social status or in financial gain. A couple that just fell in love or where he/she had nothing to offer would run off and elope.
Now it is more of a small ceremony that is just about the couple. None traditional, couples usually opt for no music. No make up artists. No flowers or a minimum of them. No walking down the aisle , no bridal party or white dress and fancy suit and no fan fare of guests. Just witnesses and the celebrant and usually a photographer to document it.
Getting married is still all about the traditions and the fan fare with larger groups than 10. Music, an aisle, white dress, some kind of suit and a bridal party, all the family and half the friends at least.
The pros of eloping are - you can get away with doing it pretty much anywhere. It is not an interruption to public life because there is no large group of people or decoration to be done. Just you and a few and that’s it.
So most places are open to accepting elopements of under 10 people.
Cost is generally very low. At an estimated 20% cost of the usual wedding of 50 -80 people.
Time is not consumed by planning.
Traditions are not required or expected.
You get amazing photos like the one pictured.
The cons - you are always going to have family be disappointed they were not invited to the ceremony no matter who you have or do not have.
You may need to consider hiking, walking a fair distance or a helicopter ride to get these views.

From airport cocktails to our spacious plane seats we landed in Manchester and have spent the week four generations together. My grandmother turned 90 and we simply couldn’t let her celebrate alone. 🥰❤️
2023 - that’s a wrap.
All the weddings for the year were fabulous. I must have laughed so much at every one of them. What fun we’ve had. I loved supporting you all through your weddings and I wish each one of you the best life can bring.
Thank you all for an amazing 2023.
I’m now off on a holiday to the UK and then spending Christmas with family.
Many photos of adventures to follow 💋
I love a classic look and this screams, simple classic romance. Congratulations to Rebecca and her beloved Alexander Leigh. You look stunning as always ❤️❤️❤️

Ever wondered what I do when I’m not being a fabulous celebrant… ? Probably not 😂 but,
I’m going to tell you anyway.
No I’m not pirate 🏴☠️ despite this amazing photo of me as one.
I’m a travel consultant so when you’re thinking of Fiji for the honeymoon or a quick bucks in Bali, think of me and let’s get planning. ❤️🥰🥳
love working with Sam Harrison as an ambassador of the store.
Sam has such a huge heart. I’ve sent countless couples, friends and strangers who were either not in a position to buy an outfit for a special occasion or ready to donate the ones sitting in the back of their wardrobes. I can’t tell you how many people sam has assisted over the 5 yrs but I can tell you this community is blessed to have her.
Sam you do amazing work and I’m so proud of you. ❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations to these two crazy kids getting married yesterday at Landsborough. They killed it. Thanks for letting be a moment in your happy ever after ❤️
Fun ways to go “unplugged”
💛give warning to all guests - if you lift, we lift
Provide the groomsmen with nerf guns and “fire at will”
💙 Issue fines - have a child dress as a police office and issue pre printed “fines” to any person with their phone. All fines payable to the honeymoon account.
🧡 Issue Dares - “how dare you” now “we dare you”. Dares could be anything from dance with the oldest guest to feed yourself blindfolded.
🩷 Wrath of the Tog - the photographer now gets to choose your fate. Pay a fine (money towards the photos), walk of shame - must walk backwards down the aisle while being pelted with nerf guns by guests, learn the ropes - spend an hour with the Tog, carrying equipment and helping with the bridal photos.
However you choose to do it, there’s always a fun twist we can come up with. 💜❤️💚
❤️❤️❤️ Happy MONDAY ❤️❤️❤️
In solidarity and support of I present a fundraiser for a beautiful human who is following their heart. For those of us also addicted to candles this is a win win.
Get your candle today and help a friend.
Then burn your candle on public display and raise awareness.
For the love of love ❤️
Dishing out all the pigments, shimmers and sparkles you need to unleash the majestic mermaid within!
Loving my Sunday… how’s yours?
A beautiful back yard wedding today and it was magical. “Rainbows” were the theme and all the guests definitely brought colour and love.
The children painted the backdrop with mum and dad. The bridal party wore tie dye and the bride was beautiful in pastels.
Thank you and congratulations Ced & Linda 🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Sharing the LOVE.
