Shade and Monty first met back on the 30th of August 2018, when Shade was holidaying in New Zealand. They met at a mutual friends’ party and instantaneously their stars aligned. For the next three days, until Shade was due to head back to Aus, they were inseparable. After a coincidental missed flight, Shade eventually returned home, however, was only back for a month, after breaking her leg and without hesitation, rushed back to New Zealand to be with Monty.

Jo and Andy first met 12 years ago, in South London, in a nightclub known as The Venue. Jo had just returned from travelling through southeast Asia, New Zealand, and Australia. It was late in the evening, and both Jo and Andy were a few drinks deep, so they recall their first interaction as quite blurry and can’t agree on who approached whom first.

After taking a few days to recover, Andy finally plucked up the courage to text Jo and they organised to meet at a bar the following weekend. Andy had convinced himself that Jo probably wouldn’t show up and had given himself the pep talk, that if she didn’t show up after a few sips of his drink, then he was going to leave – luckily, she was on time!

Jo arrived and saw Andy sipping on a beer with a newspaper in hand, dripping in sweat due to the scorching temperatures that day - not the most glamorous instant second impression. But as the date continued, she was impressed by how easy he was to talk to. They both agreed that they would love to continue seeing each other, however, proposed that their next date, not be infused with alcohol, to ensure that they both actually liked each other – so, Nandos and a movie it was…and let’s just say, the rest is history 💕

~ Evelyn & Yash ~ Yesterday, I had the pleasure of officiating Evelyn & Yash’s marriage alongside Kumara, who performed a traditional Sri Lankan Poruwa ceremony. It was so beautiful to witness. They performed customary rituals, as well as shared rings and vows, as a symbol of their love to each other. “In this last 6 years, we have watched each other grow, learnt about each other, had lots of laughs, and shed a few tears & no words can describe how blessed I am to have you and to spend the rest of our lives together. You told me once that a relationship is not 50-50, it’s sometimes 80-20 or 60-40 , but knowing when your other needs you and putting in the extra 10 is how you make a relationship succeed, those were some wise words!! I promise to always be your extra 10. ~ Sara and Anthony ~ Sara and Anthony first met when they were just five years old at primary school. A few years later, Anthony and his family moved to Sydney, and they lost contact. However, as fate may have it, in 2012 they reconnected through Facebook and began rekindling their friendship. This connection grew, and six years later, Anthony travelled from Melbourne to Katherine, to visit Sara for her birthday and a few weeks after that, their stars aligned when they attended a wedding together in Broome, which was where they officially started a relationship. These two are meant for each other and Seaworld as the most amazing venue to capture their special day.
