Farm update for you all 🌞 We are busy behind the scenes during this winter period. Some of our farm jobs this winter have been:
✅dig up the dahlia tubers and start dividing
✅plant pre-sprouted ranunculus
✅order in more soil and prepare beds for spring (and of course put more beds in)
✅Order more seeds for spring and summer.
The tree dahlias have started flowering 🥰

We also attended the Dahlia society national conference a few weeks ago which was great to learn about all things dahlias! 💛

Today on the to-do list was to pre-sprout the ranunculus 🌱 we will be trialing around 70 corms (bulbs) this year. The corms are so alien looking! I soaked them for 1 hour and then planted them out into trays, they then will be transplanted into the beds once they have sprouted. Hopefully then by spring we will have beautiful Italian ranunculus blooming like these guys from last year 🥰🌸
