What a wedding! Within the most gorgeous setting of the Evanslea gardens, cocktail hour outside the marquee and then into the marquee for the party and dancing the night away.
I love Evanslea for the privacy it gives couples for their day, the different settings it has around the grounds for photo’s, from the leafy tall green trees out front, the homestead, the ponds, and manicured gardens out back.
Such a gorgeous day and Toneal and Nick had a stellar crew and vendor line up to pull it off ❤️🔥

So grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of Al and Chantelle’s elopement at Glen Ayr estate.
C + A decided to elope with just each other and their vendors as their witnesses. They wanted no fuss, and to share these unique moments with each other. I truly admire that about them. Carve out their own path.
They also chose the most incredible dream team to help them through their day, all to secret of course, and all GALS!
Venue ~ Was for its secluded location, luxury accommodation, the outdoor hot tub and how accommodating they are.
Photographer ~ Shay from Wild and Brave Captured these gorgeous pics of beautiful humans having a ball and being in their element.
Florals & grazing ~ Tammi is a super fairy. Talented on so many levels and so much fun to be around.
Makeup ~ I didn’t get to meet Stormi but I know she’s bloody talented because Chantelle’s makeup was to die for. Stunning.
Celebrant ~ ME! Because I make sure it’s all about you, no matter a crowd or not and my priority is making sure you are happy, laughing and you feel comfortable.

Confetti Options ✨
Everyone loves a good ol' confetti exit. The bride and groom love walking through it, the photographer loves getting the shot and the guests LOVE throwing the confetti.
Unfortunately plastic confetti isn't always the best option for the environment, or the venue. So here are some of my favourite eco-friendly confetti options I've seen:

〜Lavender (smells amazing too and leaves an imprint on your memory!)

Options for if it rains on your wedding day ✨
You're checking the weather forecast daily weeks coming up to your special day, hoping that rainy weather forecast at-least changes to cloudy or it's simply one of those days where rain is forecasted but never actually appears.
The big day is here and DAMN, so is the rain. Here's my top tips for rain expectancy on your day:
✨Be prepared; even though you're hoping and praying it may not occur still ensure umbrellas and towels are available for if it does on the day.
✨Be prepared to be flexible; if part of your wedding is outdoors ensure you have a secondary location option to not cause stress on the big day.
✨Keep your guests in the loop; Best practice would be to inform your guests well in advance for outdoor weddings to come prepared with rain gear and umbrellas. They will thank you for it!
✨Embrace the rain; A little bit of rain isn't the end of the world. No matter the circumstances it's going to be an amazing day of celebration. In years to come I'm sure you won't look back and dwindle on the fact that it's raining but what a beautiful day it was. You can’t control the weather, but you can choose to not let it ruin your wedding day.

Chantelle + Allan ~ Elopement love
Everything about these two is so special. They decided to elope, just these two, an intimate weekend away in Mudgee soaking up the beauty of the Windeyer Hills at Glenayr.
They got their A-Team, Shay, Tammy, Stormi, Glenayr and me to do the worrying & the hitching. They enjoyed an intimate ceremony (Tammy and Shay were our witnesses!) and then they got some gorgeous snaps, ate delicious food, had a few bevies & enjoyed the peacefulness of the Mudgee Region as newlyweds.
I couldn’t love these two & what they did anymore! Very honoured & so humbled to share their special day 🤍

Let's Talk 〜 Veils ✨
Do I wear one? What type do I wear? Do I wear it to cover my face? Who lifts my veil? Do I wear it all night?
There's so many questions when it comes to veils; and the answer is, there is no right answer!
Like anything on your perfect day, the right answer is what is right for you!
But, if you're looking for advice on making a choice of whether of not to wear a veil see below!
WEAR a veil if:
- You want to stay true to traditional bridal roots.
- You have amazing bridesmaids who are willing to help you with it
- Your wedding is mostly inside (wind is not a veil's best friend)
- You're excited to have a“big reveal” to your beloved to occur at the altar.
- You want to accessorise your gown
DON’T WEAR a veil if:
- You want your ensemble to remain consistent throughout the day – you’ll likely have to remove your veil during the reception.
- You want to buck tradition and go down an alternative route with your day-of hairstyle.
- You’re getting married on the water or at a location with high winds.
- Your dress is opulent, busy, or has a lovely back, and a veil will take away from (or cover up) the drama of your gown.

Reposting a beautiful video @travealyhorsedrawn took from my Nan’s funeral this week. Feel free to scroll if this doesn’t interest you but for me it’s too special not to share. My nan has been a horse woman almost all of her life, she started riding in her childhood years, got her first horse at the age of 13 & it got better from there. She was one of the founding members of the Western Riders Association (pre Cobar Pony Club) and then later Cobar Pony Club was formed. She was an instructor and then a chief instructor and she had various roles over the years. Any chance Nan would get she would take myself and my cousins (her grandkids) away to local district shows to compete in rider and hack classes. In school holidays we would go to Nyngan Gymkhana camps, go on trail rides out near Louth, Tilpa and various stations, go exploring out bush on the horses or ride around Pops place practicing dressage dances and getting our horses fit. These are some of my most cherished memories and whilst I don’t ride at the moment, I still remember so many things Nan taught me and I can’t wait to pass this on to my kids (we’re totally getting a horse soon haha sorry Cam 😂). So to have Travealy Horse Drawn Carriages take our Nan to her final resting place, escorted by beautiful Molly & Silver, two cheeky flea bitten grey horses, in the most beautiful hearse we have ever seen, was truly something special and I’ll never forget. Big thank you to my cousin Jaz for organising 🙌🏽

The NSW Government have officially announced that the Greater Sydney lockdown restrictions will continue until Friday 16th July at midnight. Unfortunately this means that weddings can’t take place within the Greater Sydney Region, along with a number of other restrictions across the region for just over the next week. Please see link for the full list of restrictions https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules over the next few days Gladys has also advised she will announce what restrictions look like post-lockdown. We are thinking of you all during this time, if you have a wedding coming up over the next few weeks please get in touch with your vendors for support & changing of plans. Not only this but if you are struggling financially (individually or for your business) take the time to reach out to organisations like Centrelink, your bank & telco companies etc to arrange relief on repayments or Covid19 assistance packages available.
