Call for Volunteers: Beef Cattle Section
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our Beef Cattle Section at the Grafton Show. As one of our most popular sections, we rely on individuals with a background in the beef cattle industry to help us deliver a successful event.
Ideal Volunteers:
* Have experience in the beef cattle industry.
* Can commit to volunteering for the duration of the show
*Are willing to assist with set up and pack down, stewarding
Benefits of Volunteering:
* Opportunity to be part of a great group of volunteers
* Contribute to the success of the Grafton Show.

As many of you know, our Kyogle show has been cancelled due to heavy rain, highlighting the unpredictable challenges that local agricultural shows face. These events are not just a celebration of our community; they are crucial for supporting local businesses and preserving our agricultural heritage.

With shows like Casino, Lismore, and others approaching, it’s vital that we come together to ensure their survival. Weather events can make it tough for these shows to thrive, and your support as a patron, competitor, or volunteer is essential.

The AGM for the Clarence Pastoral & Agricultural Society Ltd will be held on Thursday 24th October 2024 at 7.30pm in the T J Ford Pavilion Annexe. This will be followed by the AGM for the Grafton Showground Management Ltd.

Saturday July 20th is the Grafton Showground Monthly Market.

** Buskers are also very welcome to attend.**

** The Grafton District Poultry Club Inc will also be there with their normal Poultry Sale.**

**Northern Rivers Jumping Castles will be set up in the main arena for the kids.**

** Cold Rock Ice Creamery-Mobile NSW on the grounds both Friday and Saturday.**

Plenty happening this Saturday at Grafton Showgrounds.

Make sure you visit the recently renovated Trade Pavilion. Our fantastic volunteers have done a tremendous job with restoring this great building.
This year the Caged Birds have taken up their new premises at the rear of the building and at the front of the building is a terrific display of historical photos and chainsaws, as well as a great range of Trade Stalls.

Well done to all who have made this building come back to life.
