THREE whole years in the love biz today 🥹

When I first started out as a civil celebrant, I hoped to marry 2-3 couples a year. Three years later, I’ve been privileged to have been welcomed into the lives and love stories of 42 couples - many of whom I’m now lucky to call my friends 💓

I’m often asked how I do it all, and the answer is simple: Love. It’s the only thing that’s kept me going this year.

Over the last 12 months, I’ve been a part of 17 special days and travelled over 8,000 (!!) kilometres, all while living out of suitcases (read: laundry baskets) in my childhood bedroom and working full-time through the week. While the rest of my life was falling apart, weddings lit up the darkest of days.

To my beautiful couples, thank you for the love, kindness and compassion you have showed me over the last 3 years, but especially this one. You have showed me friendship and given me grace when I have needed it most. Thank you for teaching me everything you know about love, for welcoming me into your growing families and for trusting me to guide you through one of the most important moments of your lives 👩🏼‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏻
