Feeling supported! ❤️ Thanks to a handful of people who went out of their way to leave a positive comment, like, share or DM on one of my original songs that I’ve been posting lately! 🥰 Means a lot to someone who doesn’t necessarily have a “following” for writing songs or playing original music! I’ve spent the last 15 years playing cover songs but I’m feeling inspired lately! 🎶 Here’s another original song called “stay”. If it connects with you, feel free to like, comment or share too.

Excited to announce that I am the new regional coordinator for the Australian Songwriting Association (ASA).

The ASA is a national, non-profit, member organisation dedicated to the support of songwriters and their art, through providing avenues for encouragement and education of developing Australian songwriters, and recognition and promotion of our accomplished members.

If you know a musician who might be interested make sure you tag them so they can sign up to be notified when our first meeting for the year is.

We are currently putting the feelers out for venues who might be interested in hosting the monthly meetings. If you have any suggestions make sure you tag them here.

If this is something you are interested bring apart of the audience for, please take a moment to like and follow the new page I’ve set up to continue the work of last year’s ASA team (Jake, Terry + Chris).

First Wednesday of the Month at Roches Family Hotel, Grafton. Our Wax Lyrical event provides a stage for original material by musicians, lyricists and poets both developing and professional artists. All styles and genres are welcomed.

Live ‘n’ Loud is back! 🙌

We're transforming the carpark under Grafton Library into a mini-music festival for youth with a big stage, lights, and loads of action for the fifth year in a row.

We have two exciting EOI opportunities to apply for to celebrate NSW Youth Week:
👉 local, young musicians or bands to play at Live ‘n’ Loud 2024 (ages 12-25).
👉 a local, young host (or hosts) for our Live 'n' Loud event 2024 (ages 12-25).

I’ve been writing some songs lately so I thought I better share some with the world. I went in a songwriting evening and won a trophy! 🏆 First prize I’ve ever received for original music 🤩 Nice little boost of encouragement to keep on doing it ☺️

Last night I went to an original music night in Grafton and played a few songs I wrote 🎼🎸🎤

Our Wax Lyrical Clarence Valley winner for the month of October has been chosen and this month’s win goes to talented local artist Ryan Martin for his wonderful song ‘Won’t Get Me Down’ A big congratulations to Ryan! Ryan will now have the opportunity to grab a spot with Damo on FM 103.1 Loving Life and Ryan will also receive our monthly trophy, along with a 12 months membership to the Australian Songwriters Association Inc along with our monthly $50 cash prize Ryan Martin will also be on stage for our end of year spectacular. This will put him the running for Song Of The Year and the $250 grand final cash prize for 2024. And Remember if you are an originals artist, contact Andrea on [email protected] or via phone 0439 084 355 to reserve your spot on our monthly stage. G&TEA - A Community Fundraiser was a huge success last night at the GDSC! 🎉

Thank you so much to everyone that attended and enjoyed an evening of Gin Teapots and Canapés.

$10 from each ticket raised a $1000 for the Grafton Helping Hands Committee 👏👏👏
