MR & MRS MACKELLAR

“Are we going to see you again after this because like we love you and don’t want this to be it?” - Jye the groom at 10pm during the reception. My reaction? THANK GOD YES PLEASE. I could write a million words about Jye & Emily but I think that pretty much gives you all the information you need. Their day was everything, the venue? Jye’s sisters GORGEOUS home in Gunnedah. The ceremony? Short, sweet but packed with love & perfectly depicting who they are not only together but as individuals. The I dos? Equally hilarious as they were heart felt. Cocktail hour? Champagne popped by the bride & groom, cheese & the sweet sound of Sam Snape The reception? Amazing food, beautiful decor, a speech from the best man that had me as well as everyone in the room reaching for a tissue & a freaking killer party to round out the night. So much so, it had me ushering guests from dance floor to the buses before they missed them because NO ONE wanted the party to end - if that doesn’t tell you how good the dance floor was I don’t know what will.

My last wedding for 2024 and it was EPIC! 😍😍😍

2025 is hereeeeee!

After taking a short break over the last few months I'm back & cannot wait for all the wonderful coupled I get to hitch this year! I am kicking off my first year as an apprentice hair dresser (another hat you ask? I know I know) and as such, will be reducing the number of weddings I'll be officiating after a massive year last year!

ANYWAYS! What I really want to do is share photos from my last few ceremonies of the year starting incredible couple! Kate & Alex are the epitome of happiness and love. I was just blown away by their kindness, their love, their light - it made marrying them a dream that I want to replay every day! Truly the perfect day for such a remarkable couple. 🤍

MR & MRS MCCANN

A last minute venue change after 2 weeks of none stop rain couldn’t put a damper on this this day! And what it couldn’t have turned out better!

The rain cleared just in time and the sun was shining just for these two 😍 Billy & Tesha said I do in front of their closest friends and their family before celebrating both their long awaited nuptials & Billy’s 30th birthday - double the celebration, double the party!

Tesha - who was literally speechless when Billy proposed to her so we made sure she went first when it came to her legal vows and I do’s 😂

The most relaxed, easy going, fun pair & I mean can we take a moment FOR HOW GOOD THEY LOOK?! Such a fun afternoon 😍

MR & MRS SWAIN

One of my last weddings for the first half of the year and it was a RIPPER!! Despite the rain, and a quick relocation for the ceremony, nothing could ruin this magical day.

Dani & Declan are the epitome of best friends and lovers. They go together like red wine & spaghetti Bol which coincidentally, was on the menu on their first date. Declan even making sure Dani's fur baby, Koda had a bowl too as to not feel left out. (SO CUTE RIGHT?!) Their vows had everyone in laughter and a few tears.

It was one for the record books thats for sure!

She's backkkkk 🎉 I've been a little quiet on socials over the last few months. After a bit of R&R during the off-season, I’m beyond excited to being diving head first (fearless - sorry always a Taylor Swift song playing in my mind) into a jam-packed spring/summer of weddings! ✨

Certificates are prepped, scripts are in the works, final meetings are scheduled and I’m ready soooo ready to marry all my wonderful couples. Let’s do this! 💫

THE CARROLLS

I met Will at uni when we was 19, and to see him grow find his perfect match in Jenaya is so beautiful. So when they asked if I’d do their legals at a lunch surrounded by their family it was the easiest YES! I can’t wait to see the photos from their destination wedding. 😍

One of my favourite vow moments to date.

Dave often leaves Bek sticky notes around the house just letting her know he loves her and other sweet messages, he even used a sticky note to propose to her. So we KNEW sticky notes had to be incorporated into the ceremony somehow. I passed them their legal vows on sticky notes to seal the deal the same way it started!

4pm: Protect the bride (who just so happens to be your best friend) from the rain & hold her champagne for photos.

Advice? Always pack crocs/gumboots & umbrella just in case!

ONE WHOLE YEAR OF BEING A CELEBRANT 💕

What a ride it’s been. I have had the absolute time of my life getting to know all of my fabulous, fun, lovestruck couples who I now call friends over the last year. We’ve giggled, cried, hugged, partied, and made it legal!

I am so incredibly lucky to be able to do this as a job. I have loved every single minute of every single marriage I have been part of and I cannot wait for year 2!

I had the absolute honour of marrying these two high school sweet hearts in the sweetest, love-fest of a backyard wedding yesterday 😍

First wedding of the year was an absolute roller coaster 38 degree heat to start, followed by a short burst of heavy rain mid ceremony and ended with a wonderfully perfect evening. But you know what? The two absolute LEGENDS didn’t let it impact their day one bit. It was smiles and laughs and a few happy tears all around.
