The launch of GRAZING LANE, GYMPIE was SUCH A HIT! And it's time for us to announce the date for our next epic night!! We had over 1000 locals join us. It was an incredible night for the launch event. We received some feedback around seating, lines, the desire for more food trucks (we so hear you!), the neeeeed for dessert (we heard you loudly with this one too)

Celebrate Youth Week at ART POST this Saturday night 13 April, 6pm for the opening night of "Inside Out" creative torso project by at ART POST, 22 Channon St, Gympie, in collaboration with Headspace Gympie Youth.

This creative project empowers young people to express how they feel inside, using art as their voice, expressing creatively on the outside of a self-made torso.

It's a validation of their story.

Openin night this Saturday 13 April, 6pm and on view until 20 April, open hours Wed - Sat 10am - 2pm.

Free entry, cash bar available, all welcome.

ART POST is a new creative space in Gympie, activated by artists for artists.

Situated in the beautiful historic Old Post Office building on the corner of Channon and Mary Streets.
This wonderful space has hosted great creative events since its inaugural opening exhibition in May 2023, and has been visited by hundreds of patrons.

Our goal is to provide an alternative space, open to artists of all genres and experience levels with mentorship available in most aspects of artists development.

Doors are open Wednesday to Saturday 10am – 2pm so come in to see what’s happening, chat with other creative people or relax in a comfy chair with your sketchbook.

Excerpt from the latest review of her Brisbane gig: “There's no denying just how electric Full Flower Moon Band are, with a familiar sound that isn't completely original. They combine grungy, droning guitars that echo the '90’s with a singer whose voice could be occasionally compared to Karen O’s. What they do have, however, is a fierce front woman who is an absolute original. Babyshakes Dillon is an intimidating and charismatic woman of admiration and power who oscillates between a boot stomping, guitar slaying, microphone burning rock warrior – to then addressing the crowd comfortably and humorously, like she is talking with a bunch of old friends. It is hard to know if this is a performance, or if this is just her being herself and sharing this moment with you and the rest of the crowd, having the time of her life. Authenticity is her superpower.”
