Oh my goodness....4 sleeps to Valentine's Day!!!!

Where has February gone...January went forever as it felt like January and December just where one and there was no end of last year or beginning of a new one for me and bkw we are heading to mid February.... crazy!

Anyway I only have about 23 spaces left I have to go over orders again today, last week was insane and I'm behind in my messages sorry for that but I was working from 5am everyday except when it was 4am and I also had to work on my day off Sund so I'm very tired but very excited for Valentine's Day order's this week and making beautiful treats for yiu and yiur lover's 🩷❤️

Boy or Girl? 🩷🩵

It's a great privilege to do gender reveal cakes. Not only is this so fun to make but most of the time I don't know my clients very well and sometimes not at all yet I am handed a little envelope and I am the only one apart from the scan person whom got the envelope ready, that knows the gender of their special little baby that is on their way.

Precious time's, I am very honoured to be a part of their special day.

Love this Cupcake and Cake combination for Lillys birthday!

It's been a busy month for January I've been so busy creating a new menu, a new quote design, and I've also created add on to my grab n go range and my Valentine's Menu so I apologise for lack of post's I will try to do better...🤞

I hope everyone has had a great start to the year. Mine has already been the best year and probably the worst emotionally, but life's a roller coaster. I just got to roll with it!

Happy Wednesday, Everyone,

Can you believe January is nearly OVER!!!

I'm so excited to post my Valentine's Menu.... Keeping in theme with creating fun and colourful cakes this year, I've created a Gorgeous Bento Box, Bento Cake, and my Delicious Chunky Cookie Box 🩷

I have created a large Bento Box with a mini Heart Bento Cake, 6 Cupcakes, and 3 Sugar Cookies. You can also just get the mini bento heart cake on its own or a box of six Chunky Cookies, so whether it's for two, a family affair, or just yourself, I have options for everyone and your loved one's this Valentine's Day ♥️

I will be taking orders until Monday the 10th of February, and I'll be only taking 50 orders, so please, if you want something Special, Delicious and Beautiful, then book in asap for your Custom Valentine's Box, last year I sold out within a week 🩷

Green never looked so good.... I'm so in love with this cake! I'm also loving that all my cakes this year so far have been all coloured!!
I love me a stencil, and I knew when I saw the gorgeous olive cuttings at I wanted to make a two toned olive green cake just like the beautiful olive leaves.
Paired with amazing dahlias and lots of cute filler flowers, Olive is now the new favourite for this year... I wonder how many times will I say that this year, haha.

This was my last cake from 2024!

I created a version of this cake earlier in 2024 for a young ladies birthday, and this one was in celebration of a 40th Mexican theme birthday party.

I love painting cakes, and when doing a design like this, I use .mill straight onto ganache.

This cake was a delicious fresh vanilla bean white chocolate mud cake filled with fresh vanilla bean buttercream and caramel sauce and coated in white chocolate ganache.

I am really looking forward to seeing what I get to create this coming year, and we are already 11 days into the year...crazy how fast it goes.

Oh Baby.... Sugar Cookies 🩷

Item's like sugar cookies really took a massive hit during covid and for few years after but I've been going through all my last years events and the massive increase that my small business had had with sugar cookies, dessert tables, much larger cakes to cater for big parties and celebrations was huge.
I have never made as many sugar cookies in one year as I have as last year... we are all definitely back to celebrating life again, and I'm so excited about what this year will be like and all the amazing events I will get to be a part of in 2025!

First cake for 2025 🤍💛🧡

To celebrate one of Gympies' finest florist's owner of celebrate her 40th birthday in colour.

This gorgeous mango yellow cake covered in stunning fresh flowers were mostly grown by Candice herself, only she had no idea when I was scanning her cold room that the flowers were for her.

This gorgeous hightop cake was a chocolate buttermilk cake filled with Biscoff buttercream, Biscoff drizzle, and Biscoff biscuits and coated in a delicious fresh vanilla bean buttercream.

I said I wanted this year to be colourful. This cake is everything I hoped my year to start like, even though I had to come to work in the middle of my week off it was not only worth it to be able to just create this beautiful cake but Candice and her team go above and beyond to always get me everything I need for my clients. I could not say no to making her special cake on her special day.

Amongst 2024, there were some good times... this was my first Christmas party in store last year!
With the amazing team from Smyth Studio
Jay & Sandy brought their team in for a grazing spread and to paint Christmas sugar cookies. It was so nice having the shop filled with fun, food, and laughter. There were a few moments where there was silence as they were all very seriously painting away!
This has been something new in the shop last year, having so many more people in store from parties, high tea's, and the classes I've been doing it's one of the most positive and some of the best day's spent in the shop last year. It still feels weird saying last year... just 5 days ago, it was this year!

Here is to more parties and classes in store.

Happy New Year Everyone 🩷

I don't know about you, but I'm so very happy not to live another day in 2024.... literally a $@ #! show! I'm not saying that just because it's a new year, all will be roses and rainbows, but I'm ready to learn from my mistakes and embrace my new role as a Grammie (Grandma) and move forward.

You all have been on my lupus journey with me over the past 7 years, I knew nothing about lupus when I was diagnosed and I'm no expert but I've definitely become very aware of how my body works. I knew a few years ago that all the medications I was on weren't good for me personally. I decided to slowly get off them and find alternative things I could take that were all natural and my goal was to be pill free by this Christmas and I'm beyond happy to say I've been pill free for over 2 months now. I'm so happy, and I'm actually proud of myself as this was hard, especially the steroids that I been on for 6 years you honestly don't realise how addictive these drugs are until you aren't taking them. It made me physically sick, my mind was constantly trying to trick me into taking them 'just one more day' 'just this weekend because you are over booked' I was constantly fighting with myself which honestly is beyond exhausting but I did it and in the end I won and I'm pill free and I hope I never have to go back to that lofe as it just wasn't right for me and my body.
Now, moving forward I ready to feel healthier inside and outside, and I'm ready to see how my mind and body change over this next year.

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year, this was my third last cake of 2024 with incredible florals from I absolutely love coloured cakes, and I think that should be the new look for 2025... colour colour colour fun fun, fun! It's time to live life and embrace all things beautiful.

Christmas Puddings are nearly at full capacity.
I have three sizes, and I have my Traditional Pudding and my signature Fig and Frangelico. I also have Fresh Vanilla Bean Custard and Sticky Caramel Sauce.
My Puddings are beautifully decorated, wrapped, and bowed, perfect for gift giving.

What's your families favourite Christmas dessert??

Our family loves cheesecakes. So much so that I usually have two, and last year, we had three flavours.
My cheesecakes are not only beautiful, but they are delicious, filled with fresh fruits and couverture chocolate, and topped with more yumminess.
I have 3 sizes to suit all families and parties. Cheesecakes are the perfect table dessert for everyone

It's time to plan Christmas Parties 🥳

This year, I've added Christmas Parties to my Christmas plans, you and your party guests can come into my shop and enjoy the most amazing Grazing Table with my Delicious Ice Teas and add the option of Painting Christmas Cookies 🎄

I can also come to you and set up at your work space or home.
Parties are a minimum of 6 per party.

I'm really excited to be doing this and have two Parties booked so far if you want something different, fun and where you will be surrounded by yummy food then book your party in with me and I'll take care of the rest.
