Have you got an activity where you need an indoor venue? Why not consider the Hahndorf Memorial Institute. We have two separate function room spaces, with kitchen and bathroom facilities. Our hiring system is quite flexible, you can hire by the hour or all day, by the room or the entire hall.

We have a diverse group of activities that are hosted in the Hahndorf Institute, we are always open to new groups and new activities. Just simply reach out to our booking officer with your enquiry, a description of your activity and preferred day/s to hiring out the venue.

Prime location being in the heart of Hahndorf's Main Street.

The Hahndorf Memorial Institute is looked after the residents of Hahndorf and surrounding towns to help maintain the beautiful big building. It’s a lot of hardwork and volunteer hours, and we would love a few extra helping hands. If you love gardening, cleaning or even a bit of admin work, please reach out.

We know time is precious to all of us, and we appreciate as much time you can spare to help us out.

After the Remembrance Day Ceremony held in Hahndorf tomorrow, we will be hosting a morning tea inside the Hahndorf Memorial Institute.

We look forward to seeing you all there and paying our respects to those we lost and those who are still fighting.

Wanting to be part of the community fun? Interested in sitting in meetings and speaking your voice about a beautiful building appreciated and used by the surrounding community. Come and join us at our next committee meeting. It’s free, there’s no membership fees, we would love to have you there and you never know, you may be the missing piece for little projects we’re chipping away at, you might have contacts or knowledge we don’t know we needed yet.

Welcoming all residents of Hahndorf and the surrounding towns to our upcoming meeting at the Hahndorf Memorial Institute.

Our meetings consist of discussing upcoming projects for the well-loved building on the bustling main street of Hahndorf.
If you would like to join us at our September meeting, followed by our AGM, we would love to see you there. It is not a requirement to attend all meetings hosted by the committee of the Hahndorf Memorial Institute but having you there would benefit us in so many ways. You may have ideas or knowledge that we do not yet have that could help us improve the building or our procedures. You may have requests that we should consider actioning sooner rather than later.

Our next committee meeting on Monday 2nd September 2024 will start at 10am, AGM will follow. Inside the Supper Room of the Hahndorf Memorial Institute, bring a friend and a coffee, we’d love to see you there!
