We are excited to announce the launch of our Craft Lab Activities for 2025! We are beginning with all things Paper! Paper Mache,Paper Making, Basic Paper Journals ,paper collaging, eco dyeing papers, origami, paper quilling! Our Craft Lab will have most materials supplied! This is about providing affordable & Fun creative play and experimentation in our Art Room beginning weekly from Tuesday 4th of February! Please contact our office 55723699 for further info & to secure your place! Cost is $15 per session 10am to 11.30am ! Tea & Coffee included! Office open Monday,Wednesday & Friday 10am to 2pm!

Hirl Craft Lab 2025! Thankyou to everyone who dropped by & left contact details and fabulous ideas for next years Craft Lab activities! Karen & Belinda who recently joined the HIRL board are both passionate crafters with a wealth of diverse art & craft skills! Together they will be co-ordinating regular sessions & workshops at Hirl! Best bit is it will be fun & full of hands on experimenting & creative play hence the name Craft Lab! Karen is in the Hirl office on Wednesdays and happy for any ideas you may have! These craft lab sessions aim to promote crafting, community connections & positive mental health! There also will be a repair,restore,upcycling & sustainable elements to most of our sessions! Watch this space & if interested leave your contact details at the hirl office and we will be in touch! Looking at feb ‘25 to kick this program off!

We are so excited to be once again your one stop saturday morning fresh food bonanza. Bring your bags to stock up on our regular culinary vendors for all your lead up family christmas get togethers or like us pop some fresh seafood on a platter to enjoy over the weekend or stash away in the freezer for christmas. Jane Dough everyones favourite for baked goods will be set up & ready to go in the main hall. Gluten free Bakehouse will be back again for all those who dont need to miss out on baked goodies over the festive period. Grampians fresh food will have your garden produce needs sorted and you can find them in the Main Hall also. Farm to Plate fresh beef & lamb also a market favourite this year will keep your roast & bbq requirements sorted. We thank all our fresh food & produce vendors for their continued patronage during 2024 & thank our market customers for supporting their , small business's. Greg's olives & feta cheeses will alway compliment any size platter all year long.

Coming in 2025! Drumroll …… Karen & Belinda are 2 of our official team of Artists-in-residence! We will be at this Saturday mornings market set up opposite the sausage sizzle! Affordable arts & crafts activities will be offered next year in our proposed Arts & Crafts Lab with the focus on creative play & experimenting with a variety of things to do while enjoying the socialising that comes with it! All we need now is your input as our sessions will be designed around what you want! Find Karen to pop down your ideas & contact details! Between these 2 artists there is nothing they can’t help you experiment & perhaps find your thing! Best bit is we can offer everyone a psychological safe space to get creative in! Karen & Belinda are also up for some fun creative cooking sessions too!

A big thankyou to all our stallholders,sausage sizzlers,scone makers,coffee&tea makers,volunteers who both set up & pack up around our markets! But most of all a super big thankyou to our communities whom support us Rain,Hail or Shine! Our final market for 2024 will take place again in only a fortnight’s time! Save the date & grab a ticket in our Christmas Raffle where the prize is a huge hamper containing gifts donated from our stallholders plus much more!

Excited to be welcoming back to our fresh produce component of our market! ‘Tis the Season’ we open at 9am tomorrow Rain or Shine get in early! Sausages on our fundraising BBQ & fresh seafood to take home to maybe throw on yours!

We are open at the boat all weekend 10-4pm. Freshly cooked or live crayfish, fresh oysters, cooked prawns, raw prawns, a great selection of fresh fish, scallops, house made marinara and salt and pepper squid (GF)
This weekend’s markets are HIRL & Market In Hamilton and Mount Gambier Farmers Market on Saturday and South Geelong Farmers Market and Rotary Club of Camperdown market on Sunday
