Reopening for me was all about setting boundaries, for myself, my family, customers and friends ❤️ the past two days have been an absolute BLAST!!! I have not laughed so loud, created so relaxed or felt so much love like this in a long time! It’s SOO good to be Back!!! I hope you all enjoyed the flowers, the fresh lemonade, the clothes, the vibes and for some a small fire show 🔥 🙈

In the beginning we start with roses. The king’s flower right? Only they wilt in less than a day, especially when exposed to the elements. But Carnations? Oh, what a beautiful flower. They come in every color. True, some are painted, but that doesn’t mean they are less beautiful, and they never wilt!

Pink carnations symbolise gratitude and fascination. But what does it mean to you?

Thankful for 2022 and so blessed to be apart of the Helensburgh community ❤️🌸

This time last year I was ready to spring into things for another year of flowering. Ready with a new studio space, a new outlook and a new year. I thought it was time to solely focus on flowering. And I was so dam excited!!
Instead, the 2022 year has been calm, it has been learning about myself, learning about mistakes, learning about patience and acceptance, learning new things about the industry, focusing on myself, flowers and gardens. it was time to grow….
Literally!!!

Weddings and events came and went to inspire me to keep going. With no studio openings and no shop, I focused a lot more on GROWING, learning and slowing down within myself.
Even with four jobs at once 😉)

It maybe a new year tomorrow, but this time I’m not going to change anything. I’m still loving growing my own cut flowers and giving them away on door steps and to friends. Whilst keeping one in the house for myself at all times. But what I will say, is this…

I hope one day soon I can invite you into my “ garden” 💐 🌸 🌹

Happy new year, I hope you are enjoying some down time to reflect, plan and get excited for 2023. I appreciate ALL the support throughout the past few years. See you soon!

Reopening announcement...

Due to the current situation we are all navigating and living in, Ok Posy will not be reopening in January. Unfortunately, due to sickness and navigating recovery for the past few weeks.

The down time has really made us think about what's important and a reopening date will NOT be announced until we can 💯 commit to what we love doing. We know this comes as a disappointment to many of our valued customers, but our health and yours is all we are thinking of right now.

Stay safe, have fun, continue to be kind and enjoy life as much as you can.. doesn't matter how young, healthy or upbeat you are! The virus won't discriminate.

BRB.. whilst every single one of us continue to navigate this wild world 🌷

Happy and still pondering life 🥰

Covid I never thought you'd get the best of me. TV has been turned off for a year and a half, I've unfollowed all channels on social media, I woke up everyday agreeing, disagreeing, ignoring friends and family, lost so called friends and gained many. I tried to stay away from all the drama... If I get it, I'll get it, Ive said for almost two years... haven't we all?!

Well... you got me covid.

Lockdown for one week only when positive. Yet you been playing everyone for years!!?

I Went for a walk today, sunburnt, very out of breath, but happy to know I've done the right thing whilst sick. (💯 Agree, it's not your normal cold)

But still... Never letting the drama take control.

What happens now? I'll keep living, just as normal.

Life is life.
What will come will, what will go will go.
Go with the flow. Look after your health always. Eat real food. Don't do drugs.. or if you do.. atleast take the jab...apparently your safe, 😅

It's time to look after my / my families health now.. this won't control me 👻

It's a good day to have a good day!

This bunch was one of many dropped off today free of charge. our last day spent in 2021 giving back! 'A Bright happy romantic Xmas' to a coalcliff local who has spent many months in hospital after an accident in the surf.. Judy has spent many months going back and forth to hospital to visit Grant who has been in rehab. We are so pleased to hear he is spending Xmas day at home ❤️❤️

And that's a wrap to 2021! What a ride 🤪

Thankyou to everyone that has supported my small local business this year! Whether you bought from me, worked for me, a review, a like, a comment or a share.. every little bit has helped me get my business off the ground! Thankyou so so much!!

The new studio will now be closed for the next couple weeks with a reopening date to be announced... A much needed time to reflect, restock and revamp! With Soo many exciting things already planned for you in 2022 🤭

We will be switching off our socials for a while to enjoy family time.

It's the sweet little moments I'm looking forward to this holiday season.. seeing my family after two years of border closures. But it is a time where alot of people can feel overwhelmed and defeated.. especially after the year we've had. I hope you can find the joy and calm in the little things... A craft, a flower, a yummy treat or a familiar smile.

I've popped a few bunches around town today to spread some Christmas cheer! If you find one, it's not lost.. it's for you ❤️
