Diggers Kitchen - Helidon RSL

Hello Everyone.
Just letting everyone know that DIGGER'S KITCHEN is still OPEN for meal service on Friday and Saturday Nights between 5pm and 9pm and for club special days. The RSL is open everyday as normal.

There has been a few changes around the club. The club is under a new Manager and has decided that the Bar and Kitchen will all be run by the club and not by independents. So all profits from DIGGER'S KITCHEN will go back to the club. Going back to the way it was originally. Under the direction of the new club manager positions will be filled by volunteers.

We welcome the new club manager Mr James Rann

We look forward to seeing you each week for meals and to socialise at DIGGER'S KITCHEN & the RSL

For the final time, good evening Helidon and surrounds. If you missed our post earlier this week, unfortunately we are closing up the kitchen after this weekend coming (22-23 September).

For our final menu we will be offering silverside with white sauce and chicken korma, and for dessert the popular butterscotch pudding.

We have had an absolute blast serving you all, and if you can come in and say goodbye to us this weekend. We would greatly appreciate it 😊

To our loyal customers, it is with deepest regrets that we must inform you that this weekend will be our last at Helidon rsl.

It has been our honor to have met so many wonderful people from Helidon and surrounding areas, but unfortunately it is time for us to part ways.

We wish everyone the best going forward and hope to see you all around in the future.

Come in this Friday and Saturday night (22-23 September) to say goodbye. We will have our menu up in coming days

Good evening Helidon and surrounds! We hope you’ve all been having a great week and had a great time at the Laidley Spring Festival last weekend.

This week we are trying out steak sandwiches on the menu, with roast lamb and chicken mornay.

Good evening Helidon and surrounds! As the weather is warming up we will be bringing new dishes to our menu rotation.

This week we will be offering roast pork and Tuscan chicken with some changes to the sides on offer.

Good evening Helidon and surrounds! We hope everyone has had a great week and for those who managed to attend the Ekka, we hope you all had fun 😊

This week we are bringing back our always popular slow cooked lamb and Mongolian lamb with fried rice.

We are working hard on a new menu with the change of season approaching quick (along with my birthday 🥳) so keep your eyes open for some nice changes to our usual menus!

Good morning Helidon and surrounds, we hope you’ve all been having a wonderful week.

Remember this weekend in honour of Vietnam Veterans Day we will be offering $5 off main meals for veteran card holders, and for patrons that make a minimum donation of $2 to help support Helidon RSL*

This weekend we will be serving up roast beef and honey mustard chicken, as well as butterscotch pudding for dessert.

Vietnam Veterans Day Service starts at 5pm, we will have guest speakers then back to RSL for refreshments. DIGGERS kitchen are running a great special for everyone and we will have Live Music with John Cornelius starting around 6.30 to 7.00

Good Morning Helidon and surrounds! Welcome to all our new followers, we appreciate the support you give by being here 😊

Make a note in your calendars that next week ( August 18th) we will be doing a special deal in honour of Vietnam Veteran's Day, so keep your eye out for more information on that coming up shortly!

This week we are offering up roast pork with vegetables and curried sausages with your choice of rice and/or vegetables.

We are aware that other groups we crosspost in are not approving our posts in time for the weekend, so our menus may be showing up a week behind. We have started adding the date that the menu is for, and we encourage you all to follow us over on our page to stay up to date on the current menu.

Alternatively you are welcome to send us a message or call our friendly staff for any questions and to make a booking.

Evening Helidon and surrounds. As some of you have noticed our posts on other pages are showing up a week behind current times. We’d like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone that sees this post to Like and Follow our page so you can all stay up to date with current news from Diggers Kitchen.

With that said, this weekend we are serving up lamb shanks in Italian sauce and butter chicken.

Please keep in mind that our budget only allows for limited numbers of shanks, so please get in early to avoid disappointment!

Evening Helidon and surrounds! Hope you all had a great time last weekend at the show, and have been enjoying the lovely weather this week. We hope this beautiful weather stays around for the Ma Ma Creek Exhibition on Saturday 😊

This week we are putting on our ever popular silverside with white sauce and rissoles in gravy. We have had requests to bring back roast potatoes so they will be on offer this weekend as well.

This weekend we have roast pork and lamb korma back by popular demand.

We hope everyone has a great time at the Gatton show tonight and tomorrow. And if you’re too tired to cook after remember we do take away. Phone orders are welcome, or order in store and enjoy a drink while you wait 😊

Without further ado, here is our menu for the upcoming weekend. We are bringing back the ever popular slow cooked roast lamb, and a family favourite in these cool months, shepherd's pie. And if you have the room for it, we are offering up butterscoth pudding to finish off your night 😊

Happy Thursday to all! With these cold nights, the staff at Diggers Kitchen have been busy putting together meals that our families enjoy as winter warmers.

This week we will be having curried sausages and Roast Pork on the menu, along with our ever popular chicken schnitzels and toppers.

If you dont feel like dressing up to come and enjoy your meal, you can still call us and have your meals ready to pick up and enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

Good evening everyone, welcome to the middle of the week where we release our menu for the upcoming weekend.

Excited to share we have two new meals on this week, Italian style lamb shanks and rissoles in gravy. We have now added seafood baskets on as a permanent menu item as well starting this week.

Remeber we are open for take away orders, and we will be open Friday and Saturday this week.

We are also looking for more community feedback on what everyone is liking and what they would like to see more of. Send us a message or comment below with the kinds of meals you would like to see featured, as well as letting us know about anything else you think could use some work.

Good evening everyone. Heads up that due to family commitments the restaurant will be closed this Saturday night. We will still be open Friday 5-9 as usual though.

This week our menu brings two winter favourites, slow-cooked silverside and chicken mornay. Finish of dinner with a warming chocolate pudding with ice-cream 😊
