📸 When choosing your photographer it is important that you connect with them, if you feel tense or posed in front of the camera it will effect the moments captured during your special day. Be sure to book someone that you can be yourself with, someone that aligns with your vision and someone you can be open and honest with about your expectations, wants and needs.

📸 Have a discussion with your photographer
surrounding your wedding day itinerary and the who's who for your family portraits. Keep in mind that if you micromanage your photographer, you may miss out on some beautiful candid shots, so provide the photographer with the basics but give them leeway to capture the day, they are the professionals!

The Wedding Ring is the ultimate symbol of commitment. Whilst it is very much a personal choice we thought we would share some things to consider when selecting your rings:

💍 Material - When choosing your Ring consider a material that is durable and easy to maintain, such as Gold or Platinum;

💍 Colour - With a variety of colour options from Yellow, White or Rose Gold to Platinum to a combination of both, the colour of your ring has an array of options however keep in mind some colours are higher maintenance then others. There are also other metals available which can be considered if your after something modern like a black Zirconium ring or a work safe ring.

💍 Width and Size - As a guide your Ring should sit snug but not uncomfortably so. Most ladies’ wedding rings are 2mm-4mm wide and most men’s wedding rings are 4mm-7mm wide, you should make your choice based on your own personal preference and how it feels;

💍 Gemstones - Diamonds, Sapphires, Rubies to name a few. A classic row of white diamonds will remain timeless however colour stones can be used to create a statement;

💍 Stackable Rings - When considering your wedding and engagement ring consider finding something that will stack well so that they are a matching set, using the same materials will help prevent damage to the other rings.

Lauretta of Wright Celebrations has witnessed her share of two individuals become one as they announce their "I Do's". As a Featured Vendor in our Vendor Handbook we asked Lauretta to share some information with our followers that they may not know when it comes to making their special day "Official".

Lauretta shared with us that "getting married in Australia is a easy 3 step process.

Firstly it is important to lodge your "Notice of Intended Marriage" with your authorised celebrant at least one month before your Wedding.

Secondly for your Marriage to be valid both the Monitum and the Legal Vows MUST be spoken at your ceremony.

Thirdly the signing of the Legal Documentation, five people sign three forms for fifteen signatures. The couple, two witnesses and the celebrant sign the declaration of no legal impediment to marriage, official certificate of marriage and a commemorative Certificate of Marriage."

It's important to find the right celebrant to join you on your Wedding Day someone who you can connect with and who understands the process to help guide you.

Our little fur-shadows walk by our side throughout life so it is only natural to want your four legged friend by your side when you tie the knot!

So how do you involve your Best Mate in your Wedding Day?

1. It's important to check that your venue of choice is in fact dog friendly;
2. Consider your pets temperament, how will they cope with so much excitement? How will they cope with so many people and all the new smells? Know what you are asking for your pet and know if they are capable of handling the extra stimulation;
3. Consider having a Pet Sitter for the duration of your Pets Involvement in the celebrations, provide them with a schedule specific to your pet. This will mean you have someone responsible for your pet throughout the day and will mean they can be as involved in your day as you wish and all their needs are taken care of without the need for you to worry about it;
4. Plan their outfit! Consider a little Bow, a pretty puppy Dress or smart Tux, a glitzy collar or a little ring cushion;
5. Consider adding little 'puppy' touches such as on your Invites, Welcome signage or Seating Charts;
6. For something fun strap a GoPro to your pooch and see your day from their point of view!

Children are a blessing to every family and they can add a sense of excitement and in some cases humour to your special day, however children can also be unpredictable and a bad mood can add an element of unnecessary stress to an otherwise perfectly planned day.

The list of pro's and con's can be endless but ultimately comes down to the Bride and Grooms personal preference. The best advice around this to avoid any confusion is to clearly indicate on your wedding invite if your wedding is a child-free event.

After months and months of dreaming about your special day, planning everything down to perfection, your Big day is now just around the corner - You have planned the perfect outdoor wedding with the Ceremony on the Beach, followed by an evening under the Stars with your loved ones.

Sounds amazing right?

What if your special day is fast approaching and you have rain or wind forcasted for that very day? A Stressful thought right...

For this reason, We cannot stress enough the importance of having a Plan 'B' in these circumstances, as it will help avoid an overwhelming amount of stress leading up to/ on your big day.

It is important to talk to your Vendors when booking to determine what options are available when it comes to unfortunate weather. Do they have an alternate area inside the venue grounds to move your party undercover or are gazebo's available? Are your caterer's able to move venue should it need to be changed?

Knowing you have a Plan 'B' in place will help ensure you have a stress free week leading up to your Wedding Day and an all round enjoyable day for everyone involved and attending.
