We’re inviting you to take part in Harmony in Colour, a special community art project that will showcase the beauty of cultural diversity. Together, we’ll create vibrant canvas artworks featuring hand-created designs that represent different cultures, traditions, and stories from our community. WEATHER UPDATE: At this stage, access to the community centre is very risky, with multiple roads flooded in the area. We will follow safety advice from council and emergency services, and suggest any visitors avoid the centre tomorrow as there will be a significant clean-up effort, even if the roads are accessible.

We hope you are all staying safe today, and will provide any updates that we can.

An incredible work of art with an inspiring back story has just landed in the centre. 👀

A vibrant new mural, conceptualised and created by participants in HBNC’s Industry Ready Training (IRT) program, now brightens the walls of The Neighbourhood Hive.

The collaborative artwork, featuring a dynamic outer space scene and the word Unity, symbolises community togetherness and the shared vision of creating something greater.

The mural’s creation was an integral part of the IRT program, which supports community members aged 18 and over in improving their employability and life skills.

A vibrant new mural, conceptualised and created by participants in HBNC’s Industry Ready Training (IRT) program, now brightens the walls of The Neighbourhood Hive.

The YETI (Youth Events Team Initiative) program kicked off its very first official event with a bang – Bay Alley, held at The Neighbourhood Hive on Saturday, August 31.

Designed to build connection and friendship among Fraser Coast young adults, the event drew a fantastic turnout, with over 40 young people coming together to connect, have fun, and make new friends.

We LOVE these handmade whale lanterns, now taking pride of place in the Bub Hub/playground area of the centre.

These artistic creations were brought to life through Local Learning Network workshops for this year's Whale Parade.
