I was a bit bored one day over on Fraser Island. It was mid morning and I knew that the buses from Noosa should be passing through Eurong shortly, so I thought I'd have a bit of fun. I took a broom down to the Beach. When I saw them in the distance I started sweeping the sand. As expected, the first bus, driven by Tim Rivers, stopped and asked me what I was doing. I told him that I got three flat tires the day before, so Sid told me to sweep all the sand off the beach as punishment. I knew what time they'd be back to drive back down the beach, so I grabbed the broom again and started sweeping. The passengers were in stitches laughing.

My most sincere apologies to my trivia crew from Carriers Arms.
Tonight has been booked for another function. Someone had sent me a message telling me this but I couldn't find who it was or when it was.
Unfortunately tonight has to be cancelled. Blame my lack of knowledge with these new forms of communication. So sorry guys. I hate letting you down.

Because of a prior advanced booking, my next karaoke at the Burrum Heads Bowls Club will be on the 14th December, not the 7th. Please adjust your calendars and share to let others know.

If anyone wants a lift to my karaoke at Burrum Heads tonight, I have 4 seats available. Only thing is, I'll need to pick you up at 4.30pm to allow time for travel, unloading, setting up and checking it all.

I'd like to thank Jeffrey Dover and my beautiful wife Tanya for covering my trivia tomorrow night at Carriers Arms. I'm going in for eye surgery tomorrow. Unfortunately the operation has been pushed back to later in the day and it's going to be too tight for me to make trivia.

A bitter sweet report this year! Overall the day ran fairly well, and was very well received but unfortunately the event takings didn't cover outgoings, so it lost money.
I really do enjoy seeing the joy on faces and knowing great memories were made, but we're going to need help if we want to see another Wings and Wheels.
