Wide Bay Gymnastics Club parents, committee and gymnasts would like to take a moment to a knowlege the hard work and hundreds of hours these two super stars have dedicated to our Club to make National Clubs even a possibility for our Gymnasts.

This competition was the brain child of our much loved and adored Senior Coach Stacey. Nominations, planning and fundraising was all done in Stacey’s ‘spare time’. Thank-you for the months for work before hand and the exhausting hours from the past 10 days. Stacey, saying Thank-you seems like it’s just not enough ❤️.

Kate (Competition Co-ordinator) travelled to the coast and spend days and days and hours on end on a judging panel. Having a judge is a requirement for us to compete and our Kate, once again, put her hand up 🤩. Thanks so much for your time Kaitlyn. Our girls all adore you.

The team building and support shown over the last few days was noted by all around us. People from all over Australia commented on our sportsman ship and how we conducted ourselves. This is mainly due to our positive and extremely hard working professional team.

With National Clubs now behind us for another year, we have undoubtedly cemented our reputation. Notably, Grace, our sole level 9 competitor, overcame adversity following ankle surgery to deliver two outstanding personal bests at the National Carnival. We commend Grace for her tenacity and impressive achievements.

None of this would have been possible without the support of our own Wide Bay community. Discos and fundraisers, nothing was out of the question and we are humbled by your support.

🏆National Club Carnival results are officially in🏆

Our Wide Bay Gymnastics Level 7 division C girls have come home with First 🥇🥳🥳

After a day of nerves on Friday they settled into the comp and just did what they do best, perform !!

They were awarded
🥇 1st on floor
🥈equal 2nd on Beam
4th on bars
And the all important🥇1st over all 🥳

We could not be more proud of this team and their coach. Thank you all for showing Australia what we can achieve here at Wide Bay Gymnastics club. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all when you get home.

While our senior team are on a rest day, they were treated to a day at dreamworld kindly supplied by Paradise Resort Gold Coast. Day one of National Clubs has been nothing short of sensational!
The level 7 girls swiftly overcame their nerves to own one of the largest stages in gymnastics.
Their inspiring sportsmanship and determination was noted by all. We cant wait to see the amazing performances from our incredible level 7 gymnasts on day two!

We had lots of help and support along the way to get us to this stage. Our Wide Bay community have been with us every step of the way supporting and turning up for this talented group. Thank-you ❤️

Every year when Junior State Championships is finished. Gymnastics Queensland hold their regional challenge.

These gymnasts are chosen from being the top 6 in their region. This year, we were so proud to have two of our level 6 girls entered into this challenge. Along with gymnasts from Victoria Park Gymnastic & Trampoline Club Inc.Gladstone Gymnastic Club and Gymfinity Gymnastics, we competed against all other regions in QLD.

We are so pleased to announce that Central Queensland Region were awarded 5th place in the region. Up against some super competitors, we are so proud of all of you.

Well done Amarlie and Indi. You young ladies are surpurb role models for our amazing club

What an amazing way to finish their junior gymnastics career.
Amarlie walked away with a silver🥈 for floor and Indi with a 6th for bars in her session, unfortunately she missed a placing in the end, but we are so proud to announce she finished in the top 10 for her age group. Both of you amazing role models turned up this weekend and we couldn’t be more proud 🥹

Thank-you Stacey for taking these young girls and making them mature young woman. Confidence issues and mind blocks were all worked through with grace and patience. 🙌

Again, massive weekend for our resident Judge Kaity. Thank-you again for all your time and skills this weekend ❤️

Over the weekend and into the early part of this week, Wide Bay gymnastics club got to show the state what our competitive gymnasts could achieve. These 7 girls from level 4 showed up, smashed some goals, showed some amazing sportsmanship and most importantly, had the time of their lives 💙💛

This was the first states experience for all but one of these superstars. Seeing them perform at their best, along side the states best was a dream come true for many of them.

Thank you Ariel for guiding these exceptional young women to be their best at what is considered one of the hardest sports 💪

Also a big Thank-you to Kaitlyn for being there to judge ❤️

And lastly, thank-you to parents and family. It’s not easy making sure everything is prepared so your little gymnasts have everything they need. It’s a big job and you are all exceptional

Today marks the start of our talented junior gymnasts competing at Queensland state championships. For some this is their first states ever. Lots of hard work and dedication was needed to qualify for this event.

On Monday our competitive squad was fully invested in some of our level 3 gymnasts working on their kips. The support was amazing and demonstrated how the club is one big family. 💙🤍💛

When learning something new failing is part of the process. If you never try due to fear of failure you never learn from your mistakes. Now when you make a mistake you need the courage to get back up and try again or you will never achieve your goal.

When you are learning your next skill or have a goal take this on board just like our senior gymnasts.

🤩Domino’s Pizza are holding a fundraiser to assist our senior gymnast in making it to national clubs.

💛If you love pizza make sure you grab some on Wednesday the 4th September 4-8pm. Not only do you obtain a delicious pizza but you too are supporting our gymnasts with their goal. $1 for every pizza sold will be donated to the club.
