We’re excited to announce our 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways - and it’s going to be AWESOME! 🎉 Starting December 1st, Community Flights has teamed up with 11 incredible local businesses to bring you 12 days of fantastic prizes and festive fun! 🎅🎁

🎶 Community Gigs are back, and this time we're heading to Boonooroo! 🎶

Join us for a fantastic free outdoor concert on Saturday 21 September from 4-7pm at the Boonooroo Recreation Grounds (Eckert Road).

🎸Enjoy an afternoon filled with live and local music featuring the incredible Tash & Tone and the Rhubarb Tarts!

BYO picnic, chairs, or blankets, and settle in for a great time. 🍔 Food vendors will be available on-site, so you can grab a bite while you enjoy the tunes. This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event.

⏳VIP tickets selling fast ⏳
After requests last year to get up close with the warbirds, the aerobatic pilots from Queensland Warbirds and Vintage Aircraft Association have generously offered to allow a limited number of VIP guests to do guided walk-arounds of their aircraft 🙌
VIP also get priority reserved parking inside the event, and dedicated fence-side seating 👌
✅$30 for a VIP ticket.
✅Children accompanying a VIP are still free. ✅Yellow wrist bands collected at VIP parking entry (follow signs off Frank Lawrence Circuit)

📣 Volunteers Wanted📣
If you've wanted to get behind the scenes of an airshow, we are looking for a dream team to help make this day run smoother than hot oil through a Lycoming.
We need about 20 helpers with quite a few jobs:
✅ Site setup Friday 13th 12-3pm (must be able to lift )
✅ Morning-of site setup (gazebos, kids zone & table setup Saturday morning 7am)
✅ pick up & drop trailers to event
✅ set up corflute signs
✅ scanning tickets at gates
✅ supervise kids play area (requires blue card)
✅ Aircraft ground communication (requires aircraft radio certificate )
✅ Gate and fence monitoring
✅ Site pack up after event.
✅ Volunteer coordinator (for the bossy person that likes telling people what to do 👌)
Volunteer attendance at induction is mandatory for safety, gear distribution and job allocation.

📍 Hervey Bay RSL board room (take lift to floor 2, turn left, end of hall)
