As we looked up between paints, the queue was as far as we could see, so we thank you for your patience. Safe to say it was a fantastic day! Join us to celebrate Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens' 50th Birthday FREE Family Fun Day!

Join us on Sunday 20th October for a fun-filled day for the family & the green thumbs. Bring along a picnic or enjoy a treat from the food and drink stalls in the gardens.

Some highlights of the celebration include;
🐑 Petting zoo
🎨 Face painting
🌱 Interactive workshops from the Orchid & Bromeliad Societies, Fraser Coast Beekeepers & hear from microbats expert John 'Batman' Parsons!
🍦 Mr. Whippy, the T Wagon & Grumpy’s Food Truck

📍 10am to 3pm at Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens, 62-105 Elizabeth St, Urangan.

Sunday the 13th of October is the date for our Community Links Family Fun Day! This is just a teaser of this amazing event & the selection of the FREE entertainment that will be available. In addition, there will be stalls set up with fun activities from various local community organisations & businesses specialising in children & family support & health services. This event is open to the entire community & we hope to see as many local families as possible attend 💙
