My name is Peter Blades and I am a Christian Marriage Celebrant. I conduct Wedding Ceremonies in the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Byron Bay and Hervey Bay. The saying "two opposites attract" could not have been more accurate for Colin and Jacqueline. Colin is the country guy and Jacqueline the city girl. But when two people are meant to be, nothing can stand in the way of love. Their wedding was held at The Acre in Mudgeeraba and the setting was beautiful. Everyone in attendance were totally engaged in this special day, and the wonderful memories will last forever.
Michael and Lauren were always meant to be. The 16th of February 2024 was one of the most special weddings I have had the honour and privilege to conduct...because my son and his beautiful fiance' asked me to marry them 🙂. Held at the stunning Bulong Estate Winery in Yarra Junction (Victoria), they could not have had a more perfect day. Tears flowed but the smiles on their faces said it all. I was a bit of a sook too as I felt their love for eachother and everyone there was so evident.
Kirby and Chloe are a very romantic couple. Despite some initial inclement weather, a 5:30am Sunrise Wedding was exactly what they wanted. The rain stopped and the clouds started to clear when the ceremony was about to commence. Surrounded by close family and friends, everything went to plan. Such a perfect start to wonderful life together.
I love sharing the journey with couples towards their special day. And it was no exception with Michael and Elizabeth. It was important that their Christain faith was evident in the ceremony in a natural and meaningful way. So the ceremony was composed to suit. After a bit of long distance correspondence, the day arrived when Dewann and Gemma made their lifelong commitment of marriage. The venue at Hillstone St Lucia was beautiful. Another beautiful wedding that I had the pleasure of conducting. Congratulations Dewann and Gemma.

An Affirmation of Vows Ceremony sealed the commitment that Jason and Shiona made to each other during the pandemic. Everyone who was important to Jason and Shiona were able to share this beautiful moment with them. They then all headed off to celebrate their marriage with family and friends. It was a pleasure to conduct this ceremony and witness first hand the love they have for one another and their son.

Grover and Candice had always planned to have their wedding at Summergrove Estate located in Carool NSW. But Covid 19 put an end to those plans. So they had a lovely wedding at their church in Sydney. However, they were still determined to experience a beautiful ceremony at this this stunning location. So we did the next best thing in the form of an Affirmation of Vows ceremony. This beautiful couple ended up with the special day they very much deserved with all of their family and friends in attendance. Congratulations Grover and Candice...you are champions!

Toby and Rochelle were a fun and vibrant couple to work with. Rochelle was very organised and Toby went with the flow. Their wedding was held at her parents home in Tallebudgera and the setting was stunning. For someone so nervous leading up to the wedding ceremony, Toby really had it together. When his gorgeous bride arrived, the looks in their eyes was one of deep love. It was another wonderful day and I wish them both a wonderful future together.

I had the pleasure of being the Celebrant for Andrew and Sarah at the lovely Braeside Chapel in Merrimac last Thursday. Because I like to encourage couples to be involved in the composing of the ceremony, these guys really contributed. The result was a ceremony that included stories on how they met, personal vows and a lovely inclusion of family member saying a prayer for the couple and blessing them for a wonderful future together. Finally, there was a special ceremony included that embraced Andrew's Indian heritage. It was a beautiful wedding that many will remember for a long time. Congratulations Andrew and Sarah.

I was so honoured to be a part of Claire snd Scott's beautiful day. This had been a 2 year journey because of Covid issues. The date had been changed and the venue had been changed. But you would never have known! O'reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards was the perfect setting. The weather was great and the ceremony absolutely beautiful. Congratulations Claire and Scott!
