A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered, participated, and came out for Sunday’s Charity Members Day! We had an amazing turnout, and your efforts made it a truly special day. From the early morning Coffee Van and BBQ to the grand finale Pas De Deux performance, each moment was filled with joy, community, and enthusiasm.
Special thanks to our volunteers who helped keep everything running smoothly—from the arena set-up and registration to gear checks and clean-up. You are the heart of our events, and we couldn’t do it without you!

To everyone who joined in the raffle, fancy dress, and team competitions, thank you for bringing your energy and creativity. This year we proudly chose to raise funds for QENDO (supporting endometriosis) and Alzheimer’s Qld. Every bit of your support is making a difference for the causes we care about.

The draw has now been emailed, and we’re ready for a fun-filled day! The highlight? The Pas De Deux will be the grand finale, letting us all enjoy the hard work and creativity of our talented riders! 🎉

👉🏻Coffee Van & Breakfast BBQ: Start your day right with a hot coffee and breakfast BBQ on-site!
👉🏻Raffle & Ribbon Presentation: Stick around at the end of the day for the raffle draw and ribbon presentations. Amazing prizes await, supporting two great causes, so don’t miss out! Please remember—bring cash for both the BBQ and raffle tickets.

🚨 More Teams Needed! 🚨
More teams needed! Currently we only have two. All you need to do is recruit 2 or 3 riders, let us know who's in your team & a team name, & your top 3 individual scores go towards your overall team score. It does not matter what classes you are riding in as individuals. It's as simple as that.

🔹 Event Reminders:

👉🏻Rolling Sand Arena Closures: Starting from 11 am this Saturday, there will be rolling closures in the sand arena.
👉🏻Check-in: Head to the registration desk as soon as you arrive.
Rules & Equipment: Review updated rules and ensure all equipment is compliant.
👉🏻Gear Check: Immediately after your class.
👉🏻Helmets: Must be tagged.
👉🏻Bridle Numbers: Display on BOTH sides of your horse’s bridle or saddle cloth, and also while tied up, walking around, or lunging.
👉🏻Clean-Up: Bag all waste around parking areas, hose-bays, and yards.
👉🏻Sand Warm-Up Area: Max 5 horses at a time.

NOMINATIONS CLOSING TONIGHT 8PM!!!

📣 The 2024 Members Charity Fun Day has been announced 📣 And what a cracker its going to be! SEG is putting the FUN back in Fun Day 🥳🤩 This year our chosen charities to support are QENDO (endometriosis) and Alzeimers Qld.

So, what's new this year then? We're introducing the idea of Teams. Grab 2 or 3 of your friends, come up with a team name, and enter your classes as you normally would (as individuals). The highest 3 scores from your team will be counted to go in the draw. Naturally, it's fancy dress and the colour palette (in honour of our chosen charities) will be either Pink and Navy (QENDO) or Blue and Yellow (Alzeimers Qld). Let your imagination run WILD people 🤪

But that's not all - we're also doing a Pas de Deux (2 riders). A pas de deux is an equestrian performance using two horses. The horses perform dressage movements, usually mirroring each other, and almost always accompanied by music. How fabulous darlings 👏

And - there will also be a raffle drawn at the end of the event. The major prize is a $300 Drakes Voucher. Yes please!

$5 from each Class entry will be donated to Charity.

So what are you waiting for! Get your team or your dancing partner (or both) and get nominating. Noms close on the 1st November at 8pm.
