A cake we made a few years back, it’s a Russian Honey Cake. Made with award winning Leather Wood Honey from our dear friends and neighbours. The bee hives live in the beautiful Florentine Valley a favourite place of ours 💚🌿🍄‍🟫
Having warm honey from the honey extractor is an absolute treat 🐝🍯💛.

Pumpkin Season 🍂🧡🍁 Just wanted to share our favourite pumpkin recipe to everyone to celebrate the beautiful season of Autumn. It’s super easy and takes the humble pumpkin to the next level and so deliciously tasty we almost don’t want to have pumpkin any other way. This image taken by the wonderful is not the recipe we will be sharing but equally as good.
Maple Miso Baked Pumpkin. Firstly take a whole pumpkin and cut into wedges leaving the skin on and scrape out all the seeds.
I like Kent Pumpkins for their skin and easy to cut.
Then you make the paste to cover the flesh which you simply mix together with a spoon and use a brush to baste the pumpkin.
2 tablespoons Miso 2 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup 2 Tablespoons of Sesame Oil 2 teaspoons of Cracked Black Pepper Place the pumpkin on a tray skin on the bottom and baste each wedge until you have covered all of the flesh and bake in a moderate oven for half an hour or until the pumpkin is fork tender. If you have any leftover paste smear the rest on at the end.
Then roughly chop some toasted walnuts and scatter on top. Add some blue cheese if you want to make it a bit more decadent. Enjoy! ☺️. ❤️ 🍁
