How wonderful it was to see so many Christians out on our streets & inviting people into their buildings over the last few weeks. We have so enjoyed hearing & experiencing the variety of expressions of faith & Christian belief that have shone in the darkness. The heart of the Hobart Church to love & care for people has been inspiring. As has seeing Christians from a variety of faith expressions support & encourage each other & pray. Something worth celebrating!!

Another option for tonight

St James Anglican Church, New Town is opening for Prayer tonight between 6 and 8pm. Pop in for five minutes or the whole time. Opportunity to start there and then walk down to the close for Coffee and the 11pm communion service at St Davids

On this, the darkest day of the year, we choose to Celebrate the Light that came into the darkness; and that can never be overcome!
Come and join us tonight for our prayer walk and communion at St. David's Cathedral. We leave the hall at 9pm.

Join us for a special Midnight Communion Service on the night of the Winter Solstice: Friday 21 June @ 11pm. As some celebrate the darkness, we will celebrate the light. All are welcome.

There are so many great events on tonight. Grab your friends and family, and let's flood this city with prayer and the love of Jesus. We each have something to contribute, and we each have our own expressions; tonight is a celebration of the light and diversity of the body of Christ. Whether it's a walk, a prayer time, singing, games, pancakes or communion, it's a time of coming together to be light to those lost and struggling. It would be great to see everyone finish off tonight at St David's Cathedral and have communion together.

Ps: Don't forget that for those walking, Alphacrucis College is open for coffee, tea, and biscuits to warm us back up again.
