Thanks Legacy!

How impressive is this! This remarkable young man is Craig Leto. His father Zachary Leto was a Paramedic with the Queensland Ambulance Service who was tragically killed in 2005, alongside his three year old daughter Ashley. The QAS Legacy Scheme has been supporting Craig throughout the years and we are always so grateful to his mother Louise for keeping us updated on the extraordinary things Craig gets up to. Louise has allowed us to share the most recent update which really displays how exceptional Craig is.

Craig has spent 2022 following his dream, realising all of his hard work, commitment and grit pays off with his participation in the Melbourne to Hobart Westcoaster Yacht race! Craig has become part of a wonderful Yacht racing team onboard “Hartbreaker” and even has aspirations to one day participate in the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race (when he is old enough). Louise says that Craig gets his tenacity from his Dad.

Louise wanted to thank the QAS Legacy Scheme for the support given to Craig over the years. Louise says it provides him a tangible link to his Dad. Little does Louise know that it’s kids like Craig that make it all worth it. It really is our honour.
