Friday night food van takeaway is available from the Richmond Cafe this Friday, February 28th. From March we will be operating on the last Friday of the month.

Hi everyone this weekend not only is our cafe at Richmond open Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th 9.30am - 3.30pm and Monday 27th 11.00am to 3.30pm but we will also be serving up delicious Tassie seafood from our food van at the Tasman Feast this afternoon at Nubeena Recreation Grounds, 4pm - 10pm, then tomorrow up at the beautiful Mayfield Estate at Little Swanport 11.30am - 2.30pm.
We hope to see you this weekend!

Due to several large offsite events, Wattlebanks Richmond Cafe and Providore will be closed from Tuesday, February 4th to Saturday, February 8th, this includes Friday night Takeaway on the 7th. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We will reopen Sunday, February 9th, following our usual hours:
Wednesday - Monday Cafe and Providore, open 9.30am-3.30pm
And
Takeaway Friday nights will continue weekly from February 14th until February 28th. After which, Friday night takeaway will be available on the last Friday of every month.

Wattlebanks is proud to be participating in the Hobart City Mission 2024 Joy Drive. If you would like to give a donation this Christmas, you can drop off your items at one of our cafes. Items are preferred to be unwrapped and delivered by December 11th. Hobart City Mission specifically requests toys and gifts for children aged 12-16, as well as non-perishable and self-care items. Your donation will help bring joy to thousands of families and children who might otherwise go without, so thank you! And Merry Christmas to all!

For people on a Home Care Package (HCP) managed plan, Wattlebanks @ Home meals are charged only 30% of the meal cost upfront and we liaise with your service provider to collect the remaining amount.

You can sign up by letting your HCP provider case manager know you would like an account, and they will pass on your details to us.

We sincerely apologise for not updating this sooner. Thank you to all the locals who supported us through the winter months. Our Friday night food van takeaway will continue to operate on the last Friday of the month until December 2024. Come and get your fresh Tassie Seafood on October 25th and November 29th. As the weather warms up, please stay and enjoy your meals from the cafe lawns with a cold beer or glass of wine!
