We have completed 11 days catering for the DEECA / CFA / ICC Crew.
I got the call Christmas day and had a team out at Longerenong College Boxing day ready to go!

We did breakfasts daily, made up lunch packs for all the crews heading out to the fire in the Grampians and also a couple of Dinners for the crews.

This was a new challenge that required daily changes and dealing with new staff and new directives constantly however I have had an awesome team and a few last minute ring ins, which really showed the community spirit and while I am finally getting some down time I absolutely loved my experience.

All the staff and volunteers were incredibly grateful and appreciated our food and our ability to pull off changes at the last minute and we had a heap of support from the Longy team, Jacinta and Julie who were on call 24/7.. couldn't recommend a better host.
Britt and Danielle in logistics deserve a medal, they are the backbone to all the crews getting fed and making sure everyone is accommodated for.

An incredible experience... and it gave our crew an insight into how many people are involved, in order to save towns like halls gap from being burnt to the ground.

We have been booked out the last few months and we still have enquiries coming through.
Sorry we can't do anymore for the rest of 2024 and all of January. Get in asap if you want catering next year as it's filling up quickly.

After catering the Wimmera Football Netball League Toohey Hatcher awards night at Maydale Pavilion, it came to our attention that we do some pretty good roast spuds.. and we do them just a bit differently.
So i thought, why not share with you all how we do it 😀
