Memory Makers I'm a creator, designer, and photographer all rolled into one. I have experience with additional needs and I am proud to be 🖤💛❤ I love natural photography.

My name is Monica I am based in Glen Innes and I am a proud Aboriginal women, born in Armidale and raised on the outskirts of Uralla making me a descendant of the Anaiwan Tribe. Culture means the absolute world to me and I respect all people of all cultures and their beliefs. I have looked at the world with a photographic mind from a very young age and could never own enough cameras. Now, after 24

years of playing around and doing the occasional photoshoot here and there, I am going full flight into bringing what I see to life through my camera as a career. I am a mum of 4 and my youngest hits double digits this year so I decided it's my time to shine. I have an additional needs child as well so I understand the tricks of the trade and am willing to accommodate for special needs. What do I mean by that you ask? I believe the best images come from people feeling comfortable and not feeling pressured to pose a certain way. Most of the time I will do some posed photos and then you just have to imagine I am not there and I will capture the raw moments of your session. Nothing like being given the task of a baby shower!

This one is my first baby shower I have ever done. The Mumma, other Godmother and myself worked on preparation together. Sunflower theme just made it easier.

It included:

The cake was a Basic Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Buttercream. It even converted a non cake eater 😃

We have been searching for a couple of years now for hats big enough to be able to do this!!

Last week the blank hats arrived and I got my skills going to finally make and put the finishing touches on these caps!

Last weekend saw a very busy one!

Firstly it was our first borns 18th so I had cake, decorations, setting up and pulling down to fulfill.

I was also tasked to a balloon arch for another 18th in Inverell meaning no rest for the wicked!

This was a whole week of work and I proved to myself it is possible to stay calm and get such a project completed 🙌

I was entering this into the Feature cake section of . I wasn't happy with the amount of support I had put in in and added more last night and supports in the base of the box.

Unfortunately it didn't survive the few km trip to the showground. A few nasty bumps in the road. Lessons learned and I have a mega load of cake to cut up.

It's been a hot minute since I was surprised with this honour!! 🙌

I have toiled on how I could display this beautiful honour to remind me of how special it really is 💛

I walked into my laundry and saw some shelves I used to have my Dōterra oils in and decided that's how I was going to do it 😃

There was a middle shelf so I risked knocking it out and luckily the plan worked!! I then played around with layout to then remember I had some sunflower Lego I randomly bought with no intentions (must have had some intuition). 💁‍♀️

Today In between cleaning, trying to finish a quilt and sorting my tool drawers, I have put this beauty together. The only thing left to decide is how to enclose the front...

Fill the whole thing with resin or cover with an acrylic sheet or thin resin sheet 🤔

2024 saw our dear Hannah completed year 10!!

Anyone that knows Hannah well knows that dresses, make-up and tiaras are not her norm.

Hannah can normally be found in a racesuit, gloves and helmet, tearing up the pavement racing for Ratbag Racing so to see this transformation blows me away!

While we were on holidays my nephew and son found a piece of timber laying around in the park. My nephew asked if I could put something on it for him. I gladly agreed and asked what he wanted. Since that day I've had constant reminders, full well knowing that I was going to give it to him for his birthday. The look on his face says it all when he opened his birthday present on the weekend.

We will go live this afternoon at 3pm to draw the winner of our discounted photo session!! Stay tuned!!
