Our Story

Fenton Keogh is in the kitchen at The Ipswich Club, he ran a successful restaurant for 15 years before taking up residency in The Ipswich Club. He holds a lot of fond memories of the 70 year old club having done his cooking apprenticeship here for four years from 1988 to 1992, and he got married here in 1998 to his beautiful wife Lisa who helps him run it. It’s a very special place for him and his family.

This early 20th century converted Grand Queenslander designed by George Brockwell Gill is surrounded by established gardens. On site car parking for 48 cars is provided with ramp access into the building.

Open for Tapas on Fridays , Starting from 4pm. Bookings essential but happy to cater for walk ins if possible. We cater for Functions and Events. Please contact Lisa on 0407115049 for further information.
