It’s so hard to believe! Such a special place where I’ve conducted so many amazing wedding ceremonies over the years.
Am just so sad and disappointed - not just for my beautiful clients who had their weddings booked here for later in the year and next, but also for the ever wonderful LCR events team and all the many other amazing suppliers who will be effected by this. 😰

CUISINE RESTAURANT & BAR CLOSURE.

We regret to inform you that as of Monday September 2, 2024, Cuisine Restaurant will be closing. This hard decision comes in response to challenging trading conditions and a decline in visitor numbers at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa.

With another quiet summer approaching we have decided it is time to make this hard decision. Cuisine Restaurant and Bar holds a special place in the Resort, offering memorable dining experiences to our guests over the years and hosting numerous weddings, conferences, and events. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated team and loyal guests who have supported us throughout this time.

We do appreciate that this news will come as a surprise. Please know that this decision has not been made lightly and a range of circumstances have led to this closure.

We are in the process of contacting all wedding and event bookings affected by this closure personally with details of refunds and recommendations of other suitable venues.

This magnificent dress is the amazing handiwork of Studio C Textile Workspace / Studio C Bridal - isn’t it just incredible!

Congratulations Fiona and Dan of !! I loved making your surprise wedding dress, and it was the best secret to keep for all these months.

The amazing features we got to include in this gown are the embroidered names of passed relatives, a wonderful 1940s broach at the closure of the zip, pockets, and a detachable cape!! All of that on top of a decadent lace, and colours of tulle and satin to compliment!

L O V E will always find a way!
Meet the beautiful Clive (81 years young) and “his Elizabeth” (82 years young). I met this beautiful couple whilst I was working on snow this week - Clive was teaching Elizabeth how to ski and she was absolutely loving it! They are visiting from Swaziland so were pretty excited to hear that I’ve spent time there and still have many of my fabulous Swaziland candles. Turns out they are boyfriend and girlfriend. They were engaged to one another in 1961, 1962 and 1963 but went their separate ways, married other people, had families etc and then when single again, wonderfully found their way back to each other!
Such a beautiful couple and what a wonderful privilege crossing their paths.
