There are snowy weddings and then there are real S N O W Y weddings! The ones where you feel like you’re in some indescribably magical Winter wonderland and you just don’t care that there’s snow piling up on your head or that your hands are turning blue.

When I turned into the driveway of Mill Cabin on Saturday there was not a sign of any snow, falling or on the ground … none. Then literally a minute later beautiful big white flakes were falling .. and most wonderfully they didn’t stop!
I can’t begin to describe what it was like being at the gorgeously enchanting snowy wilderness Mill Cabin in the company of beautiful people who were just beyond excited as they had never even seen snow before.
Wowsers, what timing, what a gift!

It’s so hard to believe! Such a special place where I’ve conducted so many amazing wedding ceremonies over the years.
Am just so sad and disappointed - not just for my beautiful clients who had their weddings booked here for later in the year and next, but also for the ever wonderful LCR events team and all the many other amazing suppliers who will be effected by this. 😰

CUISINE RESTAURANT & BAR CLOSURE.

We regret to inform you that as of Monday September 2, 2024, Cuisine Restaurant will be closing. This hard decision comes in response to challenging trading conditions and a decline in visitor numbers at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa.

With another quiet summer approaching we have decided it is time to make this hard decision. Cuisine Restaurant and Bar holds a special place in the Resort, offering memorable dining experiences to our guests over the years and hosting numerous weddings, conferences, and events. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated team and loyal guests who have supported us throughout this time.

We do appreciate that this news will come as a surprise. Please know that this decision has not been made lightly and a range of circumstances have led to this closure.

We are in the process of contacting all wedding and event bookings affected by this closure personally with details of refunds and recommendations of other suitable venues.
