This past weekend unfortunately brought with it a tonne of wind and rain. This picnic was supposed to be set up on a beautiful green lawn under festoon lighting to celebrate a 30th birthday. However the party must go on! We improvised and brought it inside and I think it still turned out lovely 👌🏻

Mother’s Day. Being a Mother is the hardest job I have ever had in my entire life. It’s not the physical side of it that I find hard. Feeding, bathing, clothing etc is the easy part. It’s the making sure they are mentally ok and helping them grow in to happy and responsible adults bit I find hardest. That’s the part that takes it out of me the most and makes me realise just how important a mother’s role is. So if you are lucky enough to still have your Mum around, consider doing something special like this for her to say thanks for everything she has sacrificed to help you become who you are.

Happy Easter Everyone! It’s so hard to not be able to spend time with all our friends and family during this pandemic, but at least I can pretend to have an Easter party with just my husband and our kids. Hopefully next year this can be a real Easter picnic 😆

I was lucky enough to be involved in helping create a beautiful little girls 10th birthday party on the weekend. This picnic was just a small part of an epic party which included an outdoor cinema and a giant bell tent, set up for a sleepover fit for a queen! It’s safe to say it was pretty much For some reason the colours haven’t come out quite right in these photos but this set up was a beautiful teal with black and white. Just as the birthday girl ordered ☺️
