🚘 ⚡ 🔌 Kiama Municipal Council are excited to officially unveil our Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations at The Pavilion Kiama. The two charging stations providing four charging ports, are at the southern end of the car park.
🚘 ⚡ 🔌 Our EV driving Mayor Cameron McDonald said the new stations marked a modest but important first step for Kiama Council supporting local EV infrastructure.
🗣️ “Installing council-owned EV charging stations is a major part of Council’s Corporate Emissions Reduction Plan (CERP),” Cr McDonald said.
🗣️ “It’s critical if we want to encourage the transition to low carbon transport, especially with the many tourists who visit our area.”
🚘 ⚡ 🔌 Funding was provided by the NSW Government thanks to a Drive Electric NSW EV Destination Charging Grant.
🚘 ⚡ 🔌 The charging stations are free to use until February 2025, when a rate of 50c per kWh will be introduced.

The Annual Pavilion Christmas Market is back this Thursday, 28th November from 1pm to 7pm, and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever!

🎅 Santa is visiting! Catch him from 3pm–4pm and 5pm–6pm – bring the kids along for face painting, fairy floss, and festive fun!

🎁 With over 50 amazing local makers and crafters, you’ll find unique handmade gifts for everyone on your list.
