"How many people can I have at a wedding?
Wedding ceremonies conducted in a professional venue such as a reception or function centre can have a maximum of 100 people regardless of the size of the venue. These facilities must have an approved Covid Safe plan.

It is important if you are unwell, that you do not go to a wedding.

A record of names and contact details of each guest must be kept for 56 days to assist in contact tracing if required.

Private wedding services performed in public areas and spaces in the restricted Local Government Areas can have a maximum of 10 people attend including the bride, groom and marriage celebrant.

Private wedding services performed in public areas and spaces not within restricted Local Government Areas can have a maximum of 30 people attend including the bride, groom, wedding party and marriage celebrant."

We’ve got the answer … well to this proposal anyway. 🙌

Dan Wray hung the ‘will you marry sign me’ sign over Throwers Bridge, hoping that his girlfriend Sarah Paxford, would say yes on their 3-year anniversary.

Dan says Currumbin Creek was the place that drew them together, but he had to do some convincing to get her down the sand in her nice dress and shoes.

Convincing her to look at some fish, he made the ‘yew’ sound and his mates in disguise knew it was time cut the cord to release the sign, and jump out to capture the moment on camera.

Dan says this was the perfect way to propose to Sarah given she was a community spirited person who runs a local Pilates studio and community page.

Hi all. I hope you and your family and friends are all safe and healthy. This is such a terrible covid challenging time for us all - worldwide. Here in Australia we are working together to make it not so devastating. PLEASE can you share www.myweddingwish.org in groups and with family and friends as I am just hearing about couples wanting to marry in these terrible times in terminal situations and they are not aware of My Wedding Wish. We are a national charity Australia wide and will work asap to deliver a gifted wedding. Yes they dont have to pay - it is gifted. PLEASE let no couple miss out . TY so much - one share even could make the difference in people's life .
