We hope you all have a fabulous Easter 🌼 🐣🌱 Things might seem a bit quiet over the next few months at our end, as I complete my floristry qualification 🌸 (I don’t even attempt to multitask these days) and Jayme’s garden prepares for the cooler months ❄️🧣 (his absolute favourite time of year ⛄️). We’re looking forward to getting our project up and running properly in the not too distant future 🌻🪴🌱🌼

So here they are, the two most knowledgeable, patient and thoughtful guys I know. ❤️❤️ Leroy doesn’t want any recognition (Dad probably doesn’t either actually) but they both know I don’t always listen to them, although I know I probably should! Leroy provides me with the most amazing IT support.💻📱 It must drive him absolutely nuts at times, but he never shows it, I’m so incredibly grateful! And I’ve been picking Dad’s brain like crazy for growing advice recently. 🌱 Thanks for everything Leroy & Dad xo

I just wanted to share some insights into our name and logo. 🌼 The beautiful artwork is by Jayme Joseph Doran himself! 🎨 And Bolin is my maiden name so I chose to use it as a bit of a dedication to my Dad, just because he’s pretty damn awesome and I think my fascination with watching things grow was planted hanging down the paddock with him. 🌱❤️

Thanks to everyone who dropped by and brightened my day and for all your beautiful messages 🌼 A special shout-out to my fabulous floristry friends Karen, Kirryn and Candice who made the whole sitting in the middle of Grand Central situation a whole lot less overwhelming and more enjoyable than I envisioned 🌸 And to my wonderful family I’ll be forever grateful for your patience, help, and support during the chaotic lead up to the event ❤️ Overall it was a great success! 🌈 🌱 🪴 🌼

Hi family & friends 🌼 Many of you know that I’ve had another midlife crisis, the 1st involved me deciding to become a teacher. During the 2nd I realised that teaching and I were perhaps not a great match. But the good news is I’ve been working on becoming a qualified florist over the last 12 months and I’ve discovered that some of the things of learned along the way are a perfect fit for me. Jayme and I have been thinking about starting a little project together that involves growing his passion for gardening. My studies have helped hasten the process significantly, so welcome to ‘Grown by JJ Doran’ & ‘Bolin Botanical Designs & Eclectic Treasures’ 🌱. I’m running a little pop up shop at Grand Central Shopping Centre in Toowoomba near Coles tomorrow Friday 24th March, from 9-5pm for one of my assessments for my current course. I’ll be primarily selling plants from Jayme’s garden who I envision will be my major supplier in the future 🪴🌱🌼🌻🌸 As well as a few Easter/botanical inspired hampers & treasures 🌱🌸 My classmates will also have some beautiful bouquets and arrangements available 🌷🌹💐 If you happen to be in the neighbourhood feel free to drop by ❤️
