Let’s get excited, Our Koroit and District Basketball Summer Season 2023 is here!!

We look forward to welcoming so many new families and the return of our existing families.

We are excited to announce due to record number of registrations we will be hosting 5 games weekly on a Wednesday.
Due to the significant increase in registrations, we will NO longer need to have bye games for any of our teams.

 All games across all divisions will now be two twenty-minute halves.
 5 Fouls per player per game.
 The clock will not stop during the final two minutes of the last half - with the exceptions of our final series.
 First two rounds will be grading games to ensure we have balanced teams.
 All end of season award votes will commence from this week.

The Seasons fixture will be release tomorrow via group chats and our page.

We look forward to seeing lots of families at our launch on Wednesday 11/10/23.

We want to say a big ‘Well done’ to all of the teams during our Winter 2023 season. We are so proud of you all for your efforts.
Congratulations to all teams that played in our Div 1 and Div 2 Grand Final games tonight, Wednesday 13th September 2023. Both games were fantastic to watch.

🚨 AFLW@KFNC - COACHING EOI - CAN YOU HELP? 🚨

We're seeking the following personnel to help us deliver an AFLW Program at KFNC in 2024.

We're seeking coaches for the following grades:
• Senior Grade Coach (womens)
• Under 18s Coach (womens)
• Under 14s Coach (womens)
• Auskick Coordinator

Experience coaching an AFL side would be preferred for Senior, Under 18s and Under 14 coaching applicants, but is not essential.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Availability from March - August 2024
• Working with Children's Check

ALSO:
Team managers, trainers and other support personnel will be required - let us know if you have the interest and capacity to be involved!

Thank you to parents and players who supported our first weekend of basketball squad tryouts. The coaches are extremely impressed and proud of the effort, energy and enthusiasm displayed by all children who competed at our tryouts and we are looking forward to seeing you all again in two weeks. It was great to see families come and support our proud association and support our children the right way. Keep practising hard over the next two weeks and can’t wait to see all of you back again.
Please make sure you register your child for the next tryout dates to ensure a smooth transition on the day. **Participants who are already registered do not need to register again to attend the 2nd tryout session.
