👉 Kyneton Town Hall 👈 Hello Red Planet
🚨 This Saturday night! 🚨
⭐️ Hello Red Planet is a fun, futuristic, shadow puppet inspired show about what life would look like on Mars. 🌙🪐🌟
🌏 Before we get there, it’s important to find out good things we want to take with us from Earth.
🎤 Jeff from Bunk Puppets spent some time in our community to find out what we liked, who we are and where do we see ourselves in the future.
It was a mix of local children and community members from across Macedon Ranges.
📢 This September take a trip with us to Mars. Because when Earth's problems seem too hard, it's time to head to the Red Planet!
🔦 Join renowned storytellers Bunk Puppets for a satirical information session laying out their daring escape plan from Earth.
Learn what’s coming along, (and what’s not).

👉 Kyneton Town Hall 👈 A Day At A Time in Rhyme
📢 A poem for every day. A story for every stage
➡ A Day At A Time in Rhyme is an immersive new piece of hybrid theatre written and performed by industry veteran Jane Clifton, comprising spoken word, soundscape, image and music, with source material drawn from her 2019 published poetry diary of the same name.
🎤 Using the four seasons as a framing device, A Day At A Time in Rhyme is a one woman tour de force that takes us into a year of Jane’s life as she peels back the layers to share her witty—and often poignant—observations on life.
🍷 In this revealing, riveting hour-long performance, nothing is off limits as Jane reflects on—amongst other things—love and death and family, incontinence and wine, war and sex and Vegemite, footy, children, Christmas, Easter, and the best and worst of times.
🎼 🎥📷📺 Supported by sound effects, music and projections, Jane will perform about 35 of the original 365 poems in a dramatised monologue, drawing on the personal to the universal as she runs the entire gamut of reflection, humour, tragedy, wit and whimsy. Let Jane’s raw honesty and humour leave you feeling inspired and uplifted as we reconnect with the joy and profoundness found in life’s fleeting moments…
🚨 Warnings: Contains adult themes. Appropriate for ages 15+ 🚨

👉 “The writing is simply marvellous. Brilliant word play, wit, depth, perception…” - Audience Member.
👉 “I laughed, I cried, I felt all the feels!” – Audience Member.
👉 “And isn’t Jane Clifton perfect as a wounded, impulsive bully of a woman – mad as a cut snake – whose love for her children seems inextricable from her desire to compete with or live through them?” – Cameron Woodhead, The Age (for Spencer 2019).
