TOOLS DOWN 👩🏽‍🍳

Hey all,

First of all, let me introduce to you, our 7 month old (😅) daughter Esther. She is the absolute light of our lives and we adore her SO MUCH.

Secondly, I want to thank you all for sticking by me ever so patiently especially while still on maternity leave.
With a heavy but full heart, I am however, going to use this opportunity to have a permanent break from Weezy’s Wok.

I absolutely LOVE spending time with Esther, and that time is going by so quickly, I don’t want to lose focus on her. With so much going on in our lives, family will always come first.

I am so grateful for the past 2.5 years catering for you all. I was very fortunate to be one of the very few businesses to actually thrive during COVID. Starting as huge homemade grazing tables to transitioning to delicate grazing boxes, the adventure has been one heck of a ride!

I am ready now to step back completely and enjoy life with my family 🥰

I can however, recommend wholeheartedly Oskar from OSKAR & CO for all your catering needs - he is a food genius that will not let you down!

Thank you all again for your patience and understanding. Who knows what the future may hold, but for now it’s goodbye. 👋🏽🧡

M A T E R N I T Y L E A V E
As most of you know by now, Weezy’s Wok longest bake 👶🏼 is not far away from arriving.
Although I haven’t been posting (literally since the announcement 🤦🏽‍♀️ due to pure laziness), I have still been here in the background processing orders that have come through where I can.

In saying that, for a couple of weeks now I have officially been on maternity leave, resting and waiting patiently 💤.

Orders will recommence in the new year, and I will advise closer to the date when exactly that may be (I’m thinking Feb/March at this stage)📆.

Thank you all for sticking by me even while not being socially active! 💛

🌸 HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY 🌸
As some of you already know, I have been busy doing some baking for ourselves.

The Weezy’s Wok team is expanding in November! 👶🏼

We are super excited and have been taking some time for ourselves to enjoy it all. This explains why I have been a little MIA lately.

It does also mean a few changes going forward.
I will no longer be offering Grazing Tables (homemade or traditional grazing style) as they are huge work when also working full time, now also adding growing a human into the mix!
I am sad to see them go as that’s how Weezy’s Wok all began, but I need to put our baby first now.
Snack boxes like the Pinwheel Package etc. are still available for the time being as they are more manageable.
And of course our Grazing Boxes will still be available until I go on maternity leave (unless I let you know any different).
The website will be updated over the next week to reflect this information.

We both really appreciate your support and understanding and can’t wait for the next chapter of our lives!

And of course Happy Mother’s Day to all you mumma bears out there, you are doing an incredible job and know you are appreciated 🤍🤍

Introducing our newest addition, The Breakfast Box! I’ve been so excited do one of these! 👏🏽
Featuring an abundance of fruits 🍓🫐, an assortment of pastries 🥐, yogurt cups with granola 🍧, condiments 🍯 and Brie 🧀 - the list goes on! Can’t get much better than that! 🙌🏽
The amount of yogurt cups can be altered to the amount of people the box is for.
Also I’m pretty proud of how well I’ve cut the kiwi fruit! 🥝

Why do your guests get to have all the deliciousness and you and your bridal party miss out while you’re having your beautiful photos taken?! Answer: you don’t!
Zoe and Jay organised their own box to snack away on while they were being captured, and I thought it was an amazing idea!
Even featuring my own homemade dip hiding in the corner!

Friday I had the pleasure of creating these amazing canapé boxes for Zoe and Jay’s wedding guests.
While COVID ruined our grand plans, I think these cute little ones certainly made up for it!
Thank you to my amazing fiancé and MIL for all your help for this huge job! Certainly couldn’t have got through the day without you both!
