Clout is a form of archery in which archers shoot arrows at a flag (known as "the Clout") from a relatively long distance and score points depending on how close each arrow lands to the flag. TARGET ARCHERY
Target archery is the most popular form of archery, in which mem

bers shoot at stationary circular targets at varying distances. All types of bow - longbow(traditional classic robin hood style), barebow(modern bow without sights or add-ons), recurve (double curves at the ends ,most popular choice for a first time archer) and compound(modern/hunting) - can be used. FIELD ARCHERY
Field archery involves shooting at targets of varying (and often unmarked) distance, often in woodland and rough terrain.

Quick FYI - we don't have enough numbers for the QRE, and the judge has a cold. It has been canceled.

Hello fellow archers!

We have a QRE on this Saturday. I had an argument with Assemble trying to re-open registration through that platform as I thought registration was open through this evening, however it closed Tuesday. It would not let me open it again.

Thus, please register through Archer's Diary. We just need one more to make it official for ranking.

Weather? Who knows, just come shoot with us!

Hey everyone! This weekend there is a double QRE on Saturday and Sunday. This may be good for any of you planning on Nationals to build up arrow count and get some scoring practice going.

Also- you can shoot whatever distance you are comfortable with!
20 meters up to 70 meters. Just select the distance when you register (720 round on the drop down box, just then find the distance you want)

Shoot 1, 2, 3 or all 4! $10 each, or $35 for all four.

Last Saturday when the other great archery clubs around Hobart were rained out we still held our Come’ n ‘Try ! I did try to get them to stop when the next rain shower came in but they all wanted you to keep going ! ** I can't get Assemble to re-open the registration, ignore this request. I will get it all worked out for next month. See you all tomorrow.

We have a QRE on tomorrow, and I know this is a late post for it. Should there be anyone who wants a late entry, please let me know.

Could all those that have already registered on Archers Diary please also register through Assemble for the event, and pay the fee through Assemble. If you have issues, let us know tomorrow. We may be able to help. From July onward, registration for events will be through Assemble.
