A little corner of Italy on Bruny Island

We are an Italian couple with over 15 years hospitality experience. After 6 years in Brisbane running our own cafe, we decided to move to Tasmania. We worked and lived on Bruny for the last 5 months and we were amazed by the quality and variety of local produce. What we noticed was missing was somebody that could process the produce adding value to it and then sell it to a broader public.

The idea behind this business is to support the local community and to ensure that nothing is wasted. It is a sustainable model, as all the products involved are Australian, and most of them come from Tasmania (obviously we have to source some things like sugar from the mainland, as due to climate they would never grow here). All the packaging is recyclable or biodegradable to minimise the impact on the environment.
