Highfield, Stanley

Its been quite a while since I have officiated at historic Highfield in Stanley. SUCH a pretty location!

We indulged ourselves for the extra distance too and stayed at the very nice Horizon Deluxe Apartments. We enjoyed some relaxing time taking in the awesome view of The Nut and wandering around the pretty little township.

Warm and not too breezy, today's celebration had so many beautiful moments, not least of which was their gorgeous little boy sitting pressed against my legs as they said their legal vows - SOOO cute 🥰

My second wedding for this lovely family too which is always such a special added extra for me.

These two are well placed to party into the balmy evening in the awesome Barn onsite now.

Avalon Coastal Retreat, Rocky Hills

My first visit to this gorgeous location and WOW! What a spectacular space for an intimate wedding.

This lovely, gentle couple and their special guests shared the most heartfelt and beautiful ceremony, and are in the perfect place to continue their celebrations together on this warm and sunny summer day 🥰

Honeymoon Bay, Freycinet

Our Ultimate Elopement was at the very appropriately named (and stunning) Honeymoon Bay at beautiful Freycinet this evening.

Just the gorgeous couple, Ross as one witness and Marty as photographer (and second witness) for this one, and the oh so perfect florals created by Tash 💐

I love these elopements so much, totally relaxed and free flowing, but emotional and heartfelt too 🥰

Sandridge Estate, Boat Harbour

It's been a while since I have had a wedding in this awesome space, and today's weather conditions were absolutely perfect for it!

Sunny and very warm, this venue lends itself so well to the relaxed, country, party vibe this couple wanted to start their celebrations with.

These two did so many fun things - they had some first look and early photos together. Then the groom walked in with his first love, our darling Best Dog Maggie, before the bridesmaids, the gorgeous bride and her dad walked down into the open air arbour space.

Lots of laughter and special moments throughout, and then to end the newlyweds hightailed it straight up to the reception space for drinks and their happy crowd followed 🥰

Private property, Penguin

Kicking off the 2025 weddings in style today at a beautiful private residence in Penguin (belonging to the bride's grandparents).

Around 90 guests in this lovely space, all so excited for these two getting married, and still in the post New Years glow and ready to keep on celebrating - the energy was high for this one.

Confetti cannons (my fave!) signalled the end of the formalities as the newlyweds had their first kiss - such a cool segue into party mode.

What a great first wedding for 2025 🎉

Rivers Edge Homestead, Swan Point

What a sweet property for our wedding celebration today, at lovely Swan Point.

This interstate couple combined an international family visit with a milestone birthday celebration a few days ago, and the timing was too perfect not to include a surprise wedding in the Tassie adventure mix too!

The bride wore sequins and she and the groom serenaded each other with spectacular poetry before our official bits.

And what a way to end one year and see in the next as happy newlyweds, so special!

This group were a whole lot of fun - another fantastic wedding to wrap up what has been an incredible year. Complete with a pomegranate mimosa to toast the happy couple with - bliss!

A huge thank you to the couples who entrusted me to be part of their special day, and shared such fun times with me in 2024!

And a big shout out to the couples who are marrying in 2025 - I can't wait to get stuck into the planning and creating with you as your wedding day approaches.

I love this space for a wedding, and today we chose the little jetty for our intimate wedding celebration, in front of the stunning arbour from Bohemian Elements 😍

The beautiful bride is someone I have known for 13 years, and I felt so privileged to officiate her marriage.

These two have a special and gentle love that you can see so clearly, with such an aura of calm and completeness when they are together. I couldn't be more happy to have married them both to their perfect partners today!

Their guests radiated so much happiness and love, and they had quite a few young children present which always brings fun, spontaneity and that wonderful village vibe to a wedding. Today really highlighted everything I love about what I do 🥰

Grindelwald Chapel, Grindelwald

Oh this was a fun one! Such a warm and lovely couple, and their family and friends were all the same - so welcoming and friendly, and ready for a celebration for these two gorgeous people.

Such a relief to have an indoor option today with some heavy rain showers moving through just before go time at midday, and we were all cosy and dry in the lovely little Chapel by the Grindelwald Lake.

Tears and cheers for this one, and to our delight the very happy couple danced back down the aisle together ready for a day of celebrating with their closest people - absolutely perfect 🥰

Hollybank Forest, Underwood

Oh I love this space - it is so pretty and whimsical in amongst the ferns, shrubs and tall trees! The warm sun was filtering in between the trees creating the most beautiful dappled light, and we were completely sheltered from the wind.

A beautiful elopement today for an awesome couple and their two very lucky, special guests. Another secret ceremony so I won't give away too much until they have shared their wonderful news with their wider circle!

Plenty of time for celebrating with all of their people later, but today was simply about the two of them, their love and this most intimate celebration 🥰

An absolutely perfect day in this glorious space for a beautiful wedding!

The warmth and love in this crowd were so evident, and the couples beloved dogs almost stole the show by being so adorable.

This very sweet couple were both beaming with happiness, it's one of the favourite parts of these days for me, it is always such a lovely thing to see and fills my heart every time 🥰

Lovers Leap, Waddamana

It's official - weddings that I have to 4WD into are EPIC!

The property has been in the bride's family for generations, and a 15 minute drive from the main homestead through bushland brought us to the most amazing cliff top overlooking a canyon - this spot being fondly known as "Lovers Leap" or "The Lookout".

With a small group of their closest people in this most spectacular natural location - the scene was set for a wonderful wedding ceremony. Such a fun and friendly crowd, lots of laughs and tears all round.

My photos cannot do this glorious space justice, so I can't wait to see Kayla's (Valley Fields Photography) snaps from today 🥰

Such a perfect day for an afternoon intimate elopement in this very special space.

This one is a surprise so again I won't say too much, except that the photos of this one were next level GORGEOUS - the afternoon sun streaming down in between the tall trees and lighting the path below - so so good!

An incredibly sweet couple were quietly and gently married in this naturally beautiful spot, just the two of them, and my little team to witness, it was an elopement dream come true 🥰

One of my absolute favourite spaces of all time, not just for weddings, but for the very fact we have this amazing place right on our doorstep.
