Everything about today was magic πŸ’«

From driving in and out of heavy rain and wild winds, to arriving at Freycinet to relative stillness and bright blue sunny skies.

My arrival at the epic Saffire Freycinet - pulling in to the carpark and out of nowhere a smiling concierge appears, calling out 'Hello Natalie", tells me to hop in his cart, and he drove me up to the ceremony location!

(Can we normalise collecting the Celebrant from their car with a golf buggy please πŸ™πŸ˜†).

To catching up with this loveliest of couples, their darling boys and their beautiful group of guests.

To officiating their marriage in this most stunning location in such an intimate way, and ending with champagne toasts for all.

Wonderful venue hosts and an amazing team of vendors making everything for the newlyweds utter perfection.

A 'smile and pinch myself all the way home' kinda wedding!

I am SO excited for today's elopement for a lovely couple and their small group of nearest and dearest at the incredible location - Saffire Freycinet.

THIS is what dreams are made of for me - sharing a beautiful celebration with these two and their lovely family, but also to see the creme de la creme of luxurious locations in our wonderful state.

What a special day we had at gorgeous Piermont Retreat for our Ultimate Elopement today.

While the windy and wild weather continued statewide it was actually reasonably gentle and sheltered for us at Swansea today.

We had our ceremony on the deck of their stunning two storey cottage, then enjoyed some music and champagne together before these lovely ladies headed off around the grounds for photos with Daniel.

A huge shout out to wonderful Stacey who took such great care of us and stayed on as our second witness too 🌟

Soooooo much to love about today!

Freycinet - OMG - just a spectacular place to be, even on a super windy day like today.

Freycinet Lodge - the staff are always so great and did everything to make sure all of our ducks were in a row - Amy sorting everything in the background, Nicki happily speaking Spanish with our international live streaming guests, and Pablo being a literal anchor for our tripods throughout our breezy beach ceremony!

Our gorgeous newlyweds - crying throughout and then laughing at themselves for crying - it was all just so so special.

Their sweet little girl was adorable, and too cute for words when she brought the ring box over to us.

And their very special guests, wiping away happy tears and loving every moment that this wild day in Tassie brought for us!

Just brilliant!

What a brilliant week ahead for me, with 3 elopements on the East Coast!

My first is today, at Freycinet Lodge, for an interstate couple and their 3 special guests - and Daniel Livings recording the days events as wonderful photo memories, and being an all round great addition to our little celebration.

I am beginning to think my super power just might be keeping the rain at bay for weddings! πŸ˜‰

There was some fairly heavy rain around Hobart right up until go time for our Narryna wedding today.

Such a lovely venue, and we knew from the outset that we had shelter in case of rain which is always great to reduce everyone's anxiety. Mel made sure everything was perfect for us onsite so all we needed to do was to get a very lovely couple officially hitched!

What a beautiful bunch of extended family and friends too, happy emotions were high and the guests and wedding party were present and invested, and added so much to the feel good vibe.

Always keen to officiate in a venue I haven't been to before, and after checking it out with the excited nearlyweds yesterday I can't wait for this afternoon!

One of many beautiful, historic buildings in this area, Narryna is known as the Merchant's House and was built in Salamanca in 1834.

The perfect location for this lovely couple, and their great tribe of close knit people to celebrate their marriage today.

Mother Nature certainly blessed both our weddings today! With heavy rain forecast for most of the North, I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to have both our ceremonies in the great outdoors as planned, and managed to miss the rain for both 😊

This morning's celebration was so lovely - a happy couple tied the knot in Punchbowl Reserve, with their two friends as witnesses (and plenty of gentle ducks looking on!). Short, sweet, and simply beautiful.

This afternoon was a larger event at the wonderful Glendale Estate. I always love ceremonies here - a great property with a built in Plan B (which we didn't need), but also the Glendale team are incredibly helpful and friendly, and so invested in making the day perfect for the couple - special thanks to Kayla!

With Nathan Broomhall providing the acoustic magic to set the scene for us, this ceremony started with the two cutest little flower girls making a grand entry and both high fiving the groom as they reached the end of the aisle. The wedding party were all so fun and supportive of the happy couple. The piΓ¨ce de rΓ©sistance for me was seeing the pure joy and emotion from the bride and groom throughout - THIS is what I'm here for - the happiest of happy times! So good πŸ₯°

(And such beautiful florals by Florage 😍).

Two of my favourite things scheduled for today!

An Itty Bitty elopement in one of Launceston's lovely parks this morning with just the couple and two witnesses, followed by a much larger wedding celebration at Glendale in Sidmouth later this afternoon.

A perfect way to spend a Saturday, celebrating love!

Judbury brought all the magic for the Ultimate Elopement today. Such a happy one for Daniel and I to share in!

The rain held off for us at our ceremony spot but we happily watched the rain scuds and rainbows move in and out in the distance across the valley. (Such epic views in this part of the state πŸ₯°).

This couple were so sweet and so much fun, and brought their own unique elements into the simple ceremony to make it feel so personal.

It was an absolutely cracking sunny and warm Winter's day for our Itty Bitty elopement in the Central Highlands!

The couple, their two special witnesses, Ross and I shared a wonderful day in this special tranquil space. Afterwards we enjoyed soup, stew and sour dough together, along with celebratory beers and shiraz and some great conversation around the camp-fire.

Such an enjoyable way to celebrate their marriage, and a brilliant day to share in.

Today was brilliant, and such a great reminder of why I love what I do so much!

Cradle Mountain was epic as always, and we were all very grateful that the rain held off all day.

This morning was such a joyful and tearful celebration for a very sweet couple with the Pop Up Team as witnesses, which always means extra laughter and fun.

This afternoon was a larger celebration of 8 people (on the 8th of the 8th) at the viewing platform. Such an intimate and love filled way to get married quietly but still share the joy with their closest people.

Both ceremonies so different, both so emotion-filled and enjoyable πŸ’•

What a wonderful day I had today - a warm 17 degrees in Hobart, fun visits with family, and a beautiful wedding ceremony in Blackmans Bay (fun fact: this is where my first childhood home was!).

A gentle, lovely couple tied the knot in their backyard, with two special guests in attendance, on this very mild winters day. Their international family were cheering as they watched on through the wonders of modern technology - I LOVE that important people can be included in an elopement this way - viewing the moments in real time from the other side of the world!

And with that I am going to hang up my celebrant hat for a couple of weeks to relax, rest and recharge - a little bit of me time (and 'we' time with Ross) πŸ₯°

Well, the rain certainly did NOT hold off for our afternoon celebration, but as expected this fun bunch took it in their stride and with a few small adjustments to keep us all dry, the show went on as planned!

With their great friends and brood of children as their wedding party, this one had those extra special layers - this was not just a big day for mum and dad, it was a great occasion for everyone in their family unit. And the rest of their guests huddled together in the marquees watching on as these two tied the knot, providing a real party atmosphere for these two.

Pop had a story to share of how when he married his own beautiful bride it was a rainy day exactly as it was today - and they shared a wonderful marriage for 75 years. And as is tradition in his family, Nan's ring was passed to the groom in readiness for today, and so it carries in it the love and success of many marriages in his family over the generations.

Today's elopement was another reminder of why I love these small intimate weddings so much!

Just the happy couple and a few of their very special people joined together in a sweet and simple ceremony - so relaxed and full of joy and laughter.

The backyard was decked out so beautifully in golds and white, and the stunning bride wore black with flecks of gold 😍

And in a 'can only happen in Tassie' moment I was thrilled to find that two of the VIP guests were childhood family friends from my Devonport days. So good!

Topped off by the fact that it was a spectacular sunny day, and while it was only around 9 degrees it felt so warm in the sun - winter wedding day perfection.

Great conditions to sit in the sun with my parents, and enjoy the delicious lunch and sweet treats cooked by my mum too πŸ₯°

It was an incredibly special day today!

Daniel, Ross and I met our wonderful couple at midday.

The groom and the boys headed off to the ceremony space at The Gorge while the girls and I finished getting ready so we could join them there.

Daniel capturing all the love in photo form, while Ross simultaneously held the groom's phone to zoom to his international family in one hand, and my DJI to record the ceremony in the other!

Cold, crisp and spectacularly beautiful - The Gorge was the ultimate location for this Ultimate Elopement!

So much love and happiness with this wonderful group of people, a wedding celebration we were so grateful to share!

Then to follow it up with mulled wine with everyone, and a walk around this frosty winter wonderland - what an absolutely perfect day it was!

And the cake (pictured - which was actually an assortment of cupcakes) from Boutique Treats by Ange - so gorgeous!

Today's Ultimate elopement in Launceston is one I have been so excitedly counting down for. This couple are super lovely and we have had so much interaction in the lead up to today, it really is sharing a wedding day with friends.

They will have a few guests, Daniel will be capturing the amazing photo memories for them, and Ross is coming along to film and also help stream their wedding to their international family members.

An absolutely glorious crisp and cold, sunny winter's day provided the most picturesque outlook for us at Eagles Nest today.

Our ceremony was at Nest II and the little lake at this property was like glass. Ceremony backdrops really don't get much prettier than this! The international guests were all amazed at just how stunning this area of the world is.

And my very practiced attempts at German were met with gasps of surprise, claps and cheers from those that understood what I was saying, exactly the response I was hoping for! I really love that putting in a little bit of extra effort can make such a massive imprint on everyone's ceremony experience.

Wowee it was a very cold and intermittently wild day in Southern Tas today!

My first wedding was a midday elopement on Primrose Sands beach. Such a picturesque location even on this arctic day (at the time of our ceremony it was 8 degrees, 'feels like' -2!). But so much fun with this awesome couple and their 3 friends. It rained a little here and there, and was pretty breezy on the sand, and it totally added to the excitement of the day.

My second wedding later in the afternoon was an 'at home' event for this great couple and their 20 or so guests. It rained on and off right up until go time, and then the clouds all lifted, the sun shone and we had our planned ceremony in the lovely yard of their eastern shore home. Relaxed and so special.

What a brilliant way to spend a Sunday πŸ₯°

Today's wedding was everything I had hoped for! An amazing day in one of my favourite venues... and as the surprise has not yet caught up with everyone near and dear I will say no more... for now... until the time is right and I am able to share some photos (but please do take a moment to appreciate the always incredible creations from - so perfect!).

One thing I can share though, is that this wedding was a milestone for me, and will have that extra special place etched in my memory forever.

I have now been able to officiate for 200 happy couples, and that absolutely blows my mind! I don't ever lose sight of what an honour that is, and it is one I am incredibly grateful for. A huge heartfelt thank you to all of those beautiful people for trusting me to share their special day with them, and to the wonderful vendors I have met along the way.

Every single wedding celebration has been so important to me, and each so memorable in their own way.

Earlier today I was part of a beautiful secret wedding for a really fun couple.

They had their intimate ceremony with only their closest people, and are planning a big celebration this evening when the rest of their guests arrive for what they think will be their engagement party!

Given that the weather had been fairly hectic up until midday, we chose to have the ceremony indoors in the warmth, and the sunshine absolutely lit up the room for us.

This couple's small child was an absolute delight and seeing their joy and innocence added some very special moments before, during and after!

Love these days! 🀍
