Nay had her heart set on a fun confetti shot and stocked up on canons from just for it - but the weather turned sour the day of meaning an indoor ceremony wouldn't work for an avalanche of confetti..
So when we had just a 2 minute window of no rain to give it a crack and .visual delivered 🤍 a dreamy shower of white confetti and one very happy bride!

I feel like this is one of the biggest misconceptions about a wedding day - and one you don't realise until it's too late.
You're the ones getting married. You've invited everyone, organised where they're sitting, what they're eating, what they're listening to and all the other details months in advance. But on the day? You need to actually enjoy all of it too.
Because without someone like me there as the point of call for vendors, an usher for guests, a problem solver, a fire putter-outer, a shifter of things from point A to B and everything in between, guess who that all falls on?

And yes, you could delegate it to a family member or friend. But you'll likely still end up directing them. Checking in. Answering questions. Making decisions. Keeping an eye on things. Worrying if they'll be able to enjoy themselves too!
And suddenly you're spending your wedding day managing the people who came to celebrate you. Hard pass. 😂

You've spent months making decisions, paying invoices, choosing the details and creating this day for yourselves and the people you love. You deserve to actually experience it, especially when it goes so fast on the day too.

So consider this your friendly reminder:
You are the VIP guest of honour at your own wedding. Not everyone else's host.
That's what having someone like me there is really about - making sure you get to be fully present for the day you've spent so long creating.

Not just because it’s my job and reputation on the line - but because I genuinely want the best possible outcome for my couples.
Because my clients have entrusted their most precious milestone with me, the beginning of their favourite chapter, and I don’t ever take that lightly 🫶🏼

Friendly reminder: I will always vote a big YES to having your fur babies involved in your special day. Somewhere, somehow, making it happen even just for a single photo. Because they are our best friends, and only in our lives for a short period of time really so having that time coincide with your wedding day is so lucky, and I can guarantee they will be some of your all time favourite photos ever.

I'll always volunteer to hold the lead and be puppy wrangler for the day, I will gladly arrange pickup or return drop off when they've had enough, and always make sure they have plenty of water, shade and pats too of course!
Having them there is about sentimental value over practicality. Sure they might make a little noise or not sit down the entire time, but that's expected. When a sweet doggo steps on the dress a little, or whimpers in the middle of the vows, or drools during photo time - it's a bit cute. But when your uncle Steve does any of those - not so cute.

So whether it's a dog or 3, flock of beloved birds, a couple of horses or herd of goats - embrace all the chaos that comes with having your pets part of your most precious day, because the trade off is a once in a lifetime experience and photos you will cherish forever 🐾

Nothing could contain Zoe's infectious joy all day - so her walk back up the aisle with James as husband and wife was never going to be short of high energy and good vibes too!
