It is approaching 21 years since the doors of Timeless Elegance Bridal opened. This time 21 years ago, I was anxiously getting bridal gowns steamed and on the racks, making sure jewellery displays were spot on, stressing 'will brides come'.

Over the years we have received countless thank you notes after weddings, each and every one means so much to me. This little pile of thank you's took me back, and I spent more than a little time rereading the notes. 💕 A lot of reminising. I have been asked if I remember all my brides, and I do. I have seen quite a number of my brides more recently as they bring their daughters in for leavers dinner dresses, or come in to help their flowergirls (from their own wedding) choose their wedding dresses.

Wanting to create a design with a difference, in collaboration with Waverley Woollen Mills, the team at Timeless Elegance designed and created two garments made entirely of Tasmanian Merino wool, presented on the catwalk at the Campbell Town Show.

The first, a winter bridal gown, is a stunning ball gown with a wide collared neckline and elegant wide cuff with pearl button detail.

The second, a fun two piece, using coloured wool fabric to create an off the shoulder bodice with a pleated skirt.

Both these garments will be on loan to the Ross Museum for the next two months.
