Thanks for having me Your Real Estate Show
Here's a few little tips to help adapt to the warmer weather.

It's important to keep an eye on the level of sun your plants are receiving, I get lots of photos of sun burnt plants as the sun hits places it wouldn't over winter. Sheer curtains are perfect for filtering light especially for the north facing windows.

If you'd like to know more about the 'We The Wild' range or to get some in your plant life, feel free to message I'd love to help spoil your plants.

Watering requirements vary plant to plant and depend a lot on surrounding environment, light warmth and humidity control how often plants will require water. I like to use spring water, filtered or rested tap water as the chemicals can cause some plants leaves to yellow or brown, leaving the water out on the bench for 24hrs allows chemicals to evaporate and makes it a nice room temperature for your plants to enjoy.

Get to know how your leaves look when they are hydrated vs thirsty, you'll also notice they feel not as firm when they would like a drink.

It's the best time of year for Indoor plants, enjoy all the new growth they are producing and tell them how beautiful they are often, they appreciate it! If you're plants arnt springing into growth they would love some plant food๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŒฟ

A little trick to ensure its a good fit!
It's best to repot during spring/summer (grow season) but I keep the plants warm so they dont really notice winter here. If you do notice a stand still period for your plants, it's best to avoid repotting until new growth emerges and the weather gets warmer.

๐ŸŒฟ PESTS! ๐ŸŒฟ

This is my go to method to treat pests on all varieties of plants, its a safe and effective method. Depending on the plant, pest and severity you can treat by spraying to create a soapy layer or if needed soaking the whole plant.

I'll explain my usual routine first and if youre interested enough to read on, I'll elaborate further.

I add a decent sq**rt (I'm going to guess around 30ml) of the dishwashing liquid into a spray bottle and fill with water. Drench the whole plant in the soapy solution paying extra attention to the under leaves, spray some papertowel so it's soapy and clean the leaves gently both sides, rinse the solution off the leaves with luke warm water, don't stress about dishwashing liquid soaking into the potting mix, I have had plenty drenched in it without any adverse affects. Check the plant regularly over the next week or 2 for any signs of pests and repeat if nessesary.

If you have stubborn or harder to treat plants with lots of hiding spots you can submerge the plant in a soapy sink of water for a minute or 2 before giving it a good rinse off. You can also use cotton buds to remove any pests you can see.

It replaces leaf shine products that can build up and block pores on your plants leaves. It cleans the leaves, leaving your plants with a healthy sheen and clear pores.

You can use the chemicals designed for use on indoor plants but I find some varieties can be quite sensitive to neem, white oil and Pyrethrum, I recommend testing a leaf before using products on your plant.

A little trick I like to use is spray and pot outside/rim with white oil, im sure this works as my personal collection never get pests, but when buying plants in its inevitable some of them will play host to critters but the dishwashing liquid method works a treat.

Be sure to check over all new plants thoroughly before letting them sit with the others.
Once you're on top of what to look for and how to treat it youll be living a pest free life with the happiest plants ๐Ÿฅฐ
