Caitie and Harpreet - what a fun and fabulous couple.

Both are very close to their families: Caitie’s family were even present when Harpreet proposed (not originally Harpreet’s plan but it all worked beautifully).

Understandably, their wedding was a true family celebration held in Caitie’s parents’ garden. Caitie was very keen to embrace Harpreet’s cultural traditions and the whole day was filled with joy and laughter.

Celebrants never take for granted the special place they share in the lives of ‘their’ couples ❤️. Thank you again Caitie and Harpreet for allowing me to share in your’s xx

Jade and Jason chose their own, very beautiful backyard to be married on 28 February.
What a delightful couple they are and who says nothing exciting happens in the bread aisle in Woollies? Certainly not Jade and Jason because this is where their love story began.
It was hard to choose which photos to share. They are all so beautiful. Lochie from Lu and Lo excelled ❤️

The picturesque Glendale Estate was the setting for Emma and Lochie’s wedding on 23 November 2024.

This lovely couple’s story began when they were at high school but their relationship didn’t really begin until a few years later. At the time, they wanted very different things in life but Lochie quickly realised that a life without Emma was not a life he wished to live. They have been inseparable ever since.

Emma and Lochie’s wedding was a joyful and heartfelt ceremony centred on their family and closest friends. And how gorgeous was their daughter, Georgie’s entrance!

It’s at times like this that a celebrant can be relied upon to be prepared with a tissue.

Congratulations again to the Hulme family. It was a joy to be part of your special day.

Saturday, 15 February was Caity and Jacob’s big day.
Oh, and Shadow had a significant role to play too. Without his approval, Jacob wouldn’t have had a chance of dating Caity. There was never a worry about that. Shadow and Jacob clicked immediately.
This beautiful couple smiled and laughed through their whole day along with their stellar bridal party. They were such a joy to meet and that delight is captured so beautifully by Kristy and Bree of Kristy L Photography.

Indi and Sam! What a dream wedding ❤️

I have known Indi’s family for many years and, in recent times, we have seen some of life’s hardest challenges … so this wedding was special for so many reasons.

From the arrival of Sam and his groomsmen (along with Jango and Lenni who were impeccably behaved grooms-dogs) to the beautiful bridesmaids’ entrances and then Indi walking up the aisle with her two very proud uncles, Adam and Ben, the stage was set for a fabulous day of celebration.

There is no doubt this gorgeous couple is surrounded by love and support from their family and friends who were all so delighted to see their favourite couple marry.

Waterton Hall was again the perfect setting and these photos were provided by the talents of Alex Giles Photography.

Courtney and Justin were married at the always spectacular Waterton Hall on 25 January. This lovely couple were so delightful to work with from start to finish. As celebrants, we are so privileged to be entrusted to be part of a couple’s wedding team.

Bridgette and Shannon were married on 19 October at the gorgeous little chapel at Grindelwald.

I have also been honoured to lead several funeral services for Bridgette’s family so I was really looking forward to being able to share a happy celebration with them.

This lovely couple’s day was sheer delight from start to finish.

Tamara Langmaid Photography has beautifully captured the love and fun of Hannah and Pat’s intimate wedding day.

As many already know, Eagles Nest and Mount Roland are favourites of mine but I experienced my very first rainbow there for this wedding. That must surely mean the very best of luck for this gorgeous couple.

Stef and David: another very special wedding held on 16 April at Cradle Mountain. Their preferred venue of Scotland was a little out of range so Cradle Mountain was a fabulous alternative … and the bride walked up the aisle to Highland Cathedral so Scotland was well represented.
I have been so lucky to be an honorary member of the Hall/Hampton families for many years and it was such a delight to stand with Stef and David and their gorgeous children Sarah, William and Lizzie. They all had smiles from ear to ear as did all their guests.

Our last wedding for this ‘season’ was held this morning at the always stunning Vaucluse. Yes, it was a little chilly but those autumn colours are so divine. Can’t wait for Bonnie Jenkins’ fab photos of this one.

Introducing the incredibly fabulous Mr and Mrs Johnston.

Their wedding last Saturday was celebrated with so much joy and happiness by their closest family and friends at the rustic and beautiful Two Oaks at Somerset.

This one was very special to me as Linton is my very handsome cousin. What a delight it was to ‘hitch’ him to the love of his life, Caitlin. Their children were their bridal party - their pride and joy.

Linton made the arbor and dear friend John the piper provided the walk up and walk out music - Scotland is close to all our hearts.

These photos from last Saturday’s wedding of Rachel and Jared are stunning (thanks to the amazing Ashley Margaret Photography.

This was such a fun-filled, celebration for those two lovely people who have been together since their teenage years and who have grown closer and stronger through all the highs and lows that life presents us with.

It was such a delight to be part of their special day and even more special were these words sent by Rachel: “We wanted to say a huge thank you to you and Ian. You were so warm, kind and walked us through each step. You’re incredible and the ceremony was absolutely perfect.” I love my job ❤️

Elopements hold a special place in my heart and I love all those I am invited into, especially with the fabulous Pop Up Wedding team. Quite often these smaller weddings are held at Eagles Nest and even more often those couples don’t wish their photos to be made public (which is why my socials have been a little quieter over the last year or so).
Today’s wedding at Eagle’s Nest wasn’t an elopement - it was a big family and friends celebration - and it was great to see so many people really enjoying this fabulous location.

Georgia and James!

As Tamara has said, this wedding was laughter from start to finish - pure magic in every moment.

Elopements are so intimate, private and unique and Georgia and James added so much of their own personalities to every element which is exactly how every wedding should be.

I smiled for days after this one. It was so much fun xx

There are so many great things about being involved in the wedding industry and one of those is ‘working’ with other wonderful wedding professionals.
Two of those I team with regularly are Kitty from The Pop Up Parlourand Kristy from Kristy L Photography.
There is always fun, laughter and a combined sense of doing the very best we can to ensure each couple enjoy their wedding day to the max - stress-free, relaxed and every moment a treasured experience.
Combine that with the ever fabulous Eagles Nest and the setting is perfection for the lucky couple.
Today was an absolute delight, as always.
