Introducing Luke Double..
Another amazing artist painting in our art section!
From an early age I would lose myself in an imaginary world of art and creativity . Finding comfort for hours in my room , sketching and scribbling characters and giving them names . Art would bring my mind into a present state where anything else would dissolve for a moment into my creative space .
Art became a great focus for me, helping me through the ups and downs of situations throughout my life .
Developing my skills over time with practice and persistence.
I first picked up an airbrush when I was 16, out of being inspired by other well known artists that used this medium in their art .
Through moments of frustration, perseverance and some lessons in the beginning of my journey I found a love for this art tool and the many diverse functions and ways it can be used as an amazing medium.
I enjoy various mediums in my art such as ink, pencil and marker, but I’m always drawn back to the airbrush for its versatility and fine detail .
The thing I love about art is it’s a journey with no set destination . You are in a constant state of learning and development .
