What a wonderful pageant in Lobethal last night. Congratulations 👏👏👏 to the 2024 Lobethal Christmas Pageant Committee. Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating their very much loved Christmas Pageant. Wonderful to see such a happy crowd 🎄🎅🎉🤶🙏❤️ “Happy Feet” our 6 person golf buggy featured, with Residents and friends ranging in ages from their 60’s through to their 90’s walking and handing out lovingly made and individually wrapped famous honey biscuits. 🥳🤩😘❤️🎄 👏👏👏👏 👏👏

Christmas Festival, Fun, Families and Friends. 🎄🤶🎅🎉❤️ All welcome nightly throughout the festivities. Come along see what the hard working Residents and friends have available for you. Delicious spiral potatoes, freshly made toasted sandwiches, scones, jam and cream, biscuits, craft items, white elephant stall and always a crowd pleaser, ice creams ❤️🎅❤️

Excitement is building, the Lobethal Christmas Festival for 2024 is about to begin this Saturday 7th December. Christmas in Lobethal is very much loved by the Residents at the Valley of Praise Retirement Village as many are from the local and far reaching communities around Lobethal and the Christmas Festival has been a very large part of their lives since they were children themselves. All your favourites will be available again. Many many hours has gone into preparing, cooking, creating all to be ready in time for this wonderful event. Your favourites are all back, Spiral Potatoes, Craft items, Ice Creams, Toasted Sandwiches, Scones Jam and Cream, Tea, Coffee, Cold Drinks, and of course the delicious home made Christmas biscuits. We have a White Elephant Stall and some entertainment for you all. The Village Hub will be open with some lovely surprises inside. Watch this space as there is more to come. Pop in, you won't be disappointed.

The Village Hub is now open for our Residents to enjoy. A space for our creative talented Residents to use. To explore their inner talents and showcase their creations all whilst they build relationships with others. Open Day was held with our oldest resident in the Village cutting the ribbon and unveiling the plaque "Mrs Olga Hein".

We are so proud to share this wonderful program we have been involved with called
“Intergenerational Community Connect”
with the Lobethal Community Kindergarten. The smiles of our residents say it all. The children have brought so much joy. We are looking forward to many more visits in the near future. ❤️

A very big thankyou to all who came to support us throughout the Lights of Lobethal Festivities. Was certainly a very busy couple of weeks for many of our Residents. Was wonderful to fill our centre with our Residents, families, friends and visitors. So many smiling happy people was lovely to see. We are very proud to be part of this community event. Hoping you have all had an enjoyable Christmas and wishing all a Happy and Safe New Year ❤️🎉🥳🎊❤️

Spiral Potatoes - we have been told they are the best in the state
Toasted Sandwiches- Freshly made and full of Ham, Cheese, Tomatoes
Biscuits- All Homemade by our fabulous resident cooks
Craft - Lovingly made by our resident craft group for you to purchase
White Elephant stall - filled with pre loved treasurers
Tea & Coffee, Fresh scones Jam and Cream, cold drinks available.
A few tables available for you to sit at and enjoy your food, drinks and take in the Christmas atmosphere.
