The past 24 hours has been a blur, our Team is small but mighty + so incredibly creative when it comes to running these Events, but we never walk this path alone!
We are surrounded by a Community of insanely generous humans who continuously give us their time, energy + support when we need it the most.
A few of you have asked how + why our Competitions are so different, our Community + our non-negotiables are our WHY 🖤
A huge part of this is how we communicate to our Athletes + the expectations we have, not only as Promoters, but as Humans.

Tacky Free Stones are important to us here at Empire for a number of reasons.
When the stones are clean:
• It allows for frequent maintenance such as resealing or patching to prolong the life of the stone
• Beginner Stone Lifters are not injured by Tacky (we all know how Tacky Hands move slower 😉)
• It prevents damage to clothing + surrounding equipment, as well as walking Tacky through the rest of the Gym
• It allows Strength Athletes to get strong on the implement + develop essential skills without the assistance of aides such as Tacky
It doesn't have to be perfect, but any attempt to keep them clean makes for a harmonious environment for both Newbies + Veterans 👑
After a few preventable injuries onsite, we reinforce this standard because it genuinely is for the benefit of all our peeps!
We know it's not a done thing, but it's always been a done thing at Empire 👑

• Ready to follow the advice from those who have walked a path similar to yours
• Prepared to put your Ego aside to get work done
• Hungry to make magic, improve, work hard + get results!
If the answer is No to any of 👆 points, perhaps you're not ready for a Coach + that's actually completely OK!
Too often we hear + see people who claim that their Coach didn't get them the results they were after, when in actual fact, there is only so much a Coach can actually do!
A Coach can only advise + support, they can't do the work for you ✌
If what you want is important to you, invest in the right advice + support.
Put in the effort consistently + apply the advice that you've invested in.
Actually 👏 Apply 👏 It 👏
Listen.
Learn.
Be Open to Change.
Don't blame a Coach for the results you didn't get, from the Effort you didn't put in 👌 #hastobesaid
